LCM-60 is the model of this series: rated power 60.3W, typical efficiency 92%. Type Blank: 3 in 1 dimming (dim-to-off).

LCM-60 series is a 60W LED AC/DC constant current mode output LED driver featuring the multiple levels selectable by dip switch. LCM-60 operates from 180～295VAC and offers different current levels ranging between 500mA and 1400mA. Thanks to the efficiency up to 92%, with the fanless design, the entire series is able to operate for -30℃~+90℃ case temperature under free air convection. LCM-60 is equipped with various functions, such as the dimming function and synchronization, so as to provide the optimal design flexibility for LED lighting system.

Test conditions and notes9

1. All parameters NOT specially mentioned are measured at 230VAC input, rated current and 25℃ of ambient temperature.
2. De-rating may be needed under low input voltages. Please refer to “STATIC CHARACTERISTIC” sections for details.
3. Length of set up time is measured at first cold start. Turning ON/OFF the driver may lead to increase of the set up time.
4. Efficiency is measured at 900mA/67V output set by DIP switch.
5. Current ripple is measured 60%~100% of maximum voltage under rated power delivery.
6. Standby power consumption is measured at 180~230VAC.
7. The driver is considered as a component that will be operated in combination with final equipment. Since EMC performance will be affected by the complete installation, the final equipment manufacturers must re-qualify EMC Directive on the complete installation again. (as available on https://www.meanwell.com//Upload/PDF/EMI_statement_en.pdf)
8. To fulfill requirements of the latest ErP regulation for lighting fixtures, this LED driver can only be used behind a switch without permanently connected to the mains.

Can I use the LCM-60 for higher-power LED downlights?

Yes, this constant current driver suits LED downlights up to its 60.3W rating, with a DC voltage range of 2-90V depending on the DIP-switch current setting (2-86V at the default 700mA). It is a better fit for constant current downlights than constant voltage products because the driver regulates current rather than supplying a fixed DC voltage.

Is the LCM-60 suitable for larger LED signage modules or small LED arrays?

It can be suitable where the LED module or array is designed for constant current operation and the total load stays within 60.3W and the DC voltage range of the selected current level (2-90V at 500/600mA, 2-86V at 700mA, down to 2-42V at 1400mA).
