LPV-150-15 is the 15V output model of this series: rated current 8A, rated power 120W, typical efficiency 88%.

LPV-150 and LPVL-150 are 150W single output power supplies that specifically and perfectly work for LED related fixture or applianc e. As a class II power unit, these two series are housed with the UL 94V-0 rated flame retardant plastic enclosure. The IP67 design allows every model to fit the use at dry, damp and wet locations. Both series are constant voltage mode design that various models with 12V, 15V, 24V, 36V and 48V are offered for LPV-150 where as 12V and 24V are provided for LPVL-150.

Test conditions and notes10

1. All parameters NOT specially mentioned are measured at 230VAC(115VAC for LPVL) input, rated load and 25℃ of ambient temperature.
2. Ripple & noise are measured at 20MHz of bandwidth by using a 12" twisted pair-wire terminated with a 0.1uf & 47uf parallel capacitor.
3. Tolerance : includes set up tolerance, line regulation and load regulation.
4. Derating may be needed under low input voltage. Please check the static characteristics for more details.
5. The power supply is considered as a component that will be operated in combination with final equipment. Since EMC performance will be affected by the complete installation, the final equipment manufacturers must re-qualify EMC Directive on the complete installation again. What is the input voltage requirement for the LPV-150-15, and does it support 120V?

The LPV-150-15 requires 180–305 VAC input (or 254–431 VDC) and does not support 120V North American mains. It is designed for 200V-class, 230V and 277V supplies, so check that your mains voltage falls within that range before ordering.

How many meters of 15V LED strip can the LPV-150-15 drive?

With 120W available at 15V, divide by your strip's rated wattage per meter — a 10 W/m strip allows up to 12 meters, and a 7.5 W/m strip allows up to 16 meters. Always confirm the rated power per meter for your specific 15V strip before committing to a run length.

Can the LPV-150-15 be mounted outdoors or in a damp location?

Yes. Its IP67 rating provides full dust ingress protection and resistance to temporary water immersion, and the datasheet rates it for indoor use or outdoor use without direct sunlight exposure, so it suits covered outdoor sign cabinets, exterior 15V LED architectural lighting, and similar damp locations.

What is the operating temperature range of the LPV-150-15?

The LPV-150-15 operates from -25°C to +65°C ambient. Full output is not available across the whole range: the load must be derated at higher ambient temperatures according to the datasheet's derating curve, and +65°C is the upper limit.
