Overview
HLG-480H-24AB is the 24V output model of this series: rated current 20A, rated power 480W, typical efficiency 94%.
HLG-480H series is a 480W AC/DC LED driver featuring the dual mode constant voltage and constant current output. HLG-480H operates from 90～305VAC and offers models with different rated voltage ranging between 24V and 54V. Thanks to the high efficiency up to 95.5%, with the fanless design, the entire series is able to operate for -40℃ ~ +90℃ case temperature under free air convection. The design of metal housing and IP67/IP65 ingress protection level allows this series to fit both indoor and outdoor applications.HLG-480H is equipped with various function options, such as dimming methodologies, so as to provide the optimal design flexibility for LED lighting system.

- 1. All parameters NOT specially mentioned are measured at 230VAC input, rated current and 25℃ of ambient temperature.
- 2. Ripple & noise are measured at 20MHz of bandwidth by using a 12" twisted pair-wire terminated with a 0.1uf & 47uf parallel capacitor.
- 3. Tolerance : includes set up tolerance, line regulation and load regulation.
- 4. Please refer to "DRIVING METHODS OF LED MODULE".
- 5. De-rating may be needed under low input voltages. Please refer to “STATIC CHARACTERISTIC” sections for details.
- 6. Length of set up time is measured at first cold start. Turning ON/OFF the driver may lead to increase of the set up time.

Can I use the HLG-480H-24AB to power a large 24V LED strip installation with brightness control?
Yes. The HLG-480H-24AB delivers 480W at 24V (20A), which is enough for extensive LED strip runs. How many meters of 24V LED strip can the HLG-480H-24AB power?
Divide 480W by your strip's rated wattage per meter. For example, a 24V strip rated at 14.4W/m would allow up to 33 meters (480W / 14.4W per meter = 33.3m). A higher-density strip at 20W/m would allow 24 meters. Always check your strip's rated power per meter and keep total draw at or below 480W.
Can the HLG-480H-24AB be mounted outdoors in a location exposed to rain?
The HLG-480H-24AB is rated IP65, which protects against low-pressure water jets and dust ingress, but not submersion or prolonged heavy rain exposure. It is best suited for covered outdoor areas such as soffits, canopies, or weatherproof enclosures. For fully exposed outdoor mounting, consider the IP67-rated HLG-480H-24B instead.
What are the differences between the HLG-480H-24, 24A, 24AB, and 24B models?
All four share the same 480W / 24V / 20A core specs with a CC range of 12-24V. The base HLG-480H-24 has fixed output and IP67 waterproofing. The -24A adds output voltage/current adjustment via built-in potentiometer (IP65). The -24AB adds both adjustment and 0-10V/PWM/resistance dimming (IP65). The -24B offers dimming input only and retains IP67 waterproofing.
