Overview
HLG-480H-24B is the 24V output model of this series: rated current 20A, rated power 480W, typical efficiency 94%.
HLG-480H series is a 480W AC/DC LED driver featuring the dual mode constant voltage and constant current output. HLG-480H operates from 90～305VAC and offers models with different rated voltage ranging between 24V and 54V. Thanks to the high efficiency up to 95.5%, with the fanless design, the entire series is able to operate for -40℃ ~ +90℃ case temperature under free air convection. The design of metal housing and IP67/IP65 ingress protection level allows this series to fit both indoor and outdoor applications.HLG-480H is equipped with various function options, such as dimming methodologies, so as to provide the optimal design flexibility for LED lighting system.

Test conditions and notes13
- 1. All parameters NOT specially mentioned are measured at 230VAC input, rated current and 25℃ of ambient temperature.
- 2. Ripple & noise are measured at 20MHz of bandwidth by using a 12" twisted pair-wire terminated with a 0.1uf & 47uf parallel capacitor.
- 3. Tolerance : includes set up tolerance, line regulation and load regulation.

- 5. De-rating may be needed under low input voltages. Please refer to “STATIC CHARACTERISTIC” sections for details.

Can I use the HLG-480H-24B for large-scale outdoor 24V LED strip lighting with dimming?
Yes. The HLG-480H-24B provides 480W at 24V (20A) with a 3-in-1 dimming input (0-10VDC, 10V PWM or resistance) for brightness control. Its IP67 waterproof rating allows direct outdoor mounting even in locations exposed to rain, snow, or temporary water pooling, making it well-suited for building perimeter strips, parking structure lighting, or garden installations.
Is the HLG-480H-24B a good choice for powering 24V LED modules in a large outdoor sign?
Yes. With 480W of output at 24V and IP67 waterproofing, it can reliably drive high-wattage LED sign modules in fully exposed outdoor locations. The constant-current operating range of 12-24V accommodates module strings with varying forward voltage drops. The dimming input lets you reduce brightness for nighttime operation.
Can the HLG-480H-24B power 24V LED lighting in a commercial cold storage facility?
Yes. Its case temperature (Tcase) rating down to -40°C covers cold-storage and freezer environments. The IP67 waterproof rating protects against moisture and dust; note the working humidity is specified as 20-95% RH non-condensing. At 480W it can supply substantial 24V LED fixture loads commonly used in walk-in coolers and refrigerated display areas.
How many meters of 24V LED strip can the HLG-480H-24B drive?
Divide 480W by your strip's rated wattage per meter. For instance, a strip rated at 10W/m could run up to 48 meters (480W / 10W per meter = 48m). A denser strip at 19.2W/m would allow 25 meters. Always verify your strip's rated power per meter and keep total consumption at or below 480W.
Can the HLG-480H-24B be installed in a below-grade vault or wet junction box?
Yes, with care. IP67 means the enclosure can withstand temporary immersion in water up to 1 meter deep for 30 minutes, but it is not intended for permanent submersion, so avoid locations where it would sit in standing water. Its -40°C to +90°C case temperature (Tcase) range also covers extreme temperature environments, with derating at high ambient.
