Overview
XLG-200-H-DA2 is the model of this series: rated power 200W, typical efficiency 93%.
XLG-200-DA2 series is a 200W LED AC/DC driver featuring the constant power mode with DALI-2 dimming function. XLG-200-DA2 operates from 100~305VAC and offers models with different rated current ranging between 700mA and 5550mA. Thanks to the high efficiency up to 94%, with the fanless design, the entire series is able to operate for -40℃~+90℃ case temperature under free air convection. The design of metal housing and IP67 ingress protection level allows this series to fit both indoor and outdoor applications. Moreover the innovative environment-adaptive capability allows this series to reliably light on the LEDs for all kinds of application environments in almost any spots that may install LED luminares in the world. XLG-200-DA2 series comply with the latest version of IEC61347/GB/T19510.1 and UL8750 international safety regulations. The output and dimming circuit are also completely in accordance with the new regulations with isolation to ensure the safety of both user and luminaire system during installation.

Test conditions and notes17
- 1. All parameters NOT specially mentioned are measured at 230VAC input, rated current and 25℃ of ambient temperature.
- 2. Please refer to "DRIVING METHODS OF LED MODULE".
- 3. Tolerance : includes set up tolerance, line regulation and load regulation.
- 4. De-rating may be needed under low input voltages. Please refer to “STATIC CHARACTERISTIC” sections for details.
- 5. Length of set up time is measured at first cold start. Turning ON/OFF the driver may lead to increase of the set up time. Especially when the temperature inside driver is very high, it will lead to a longer set up time.
- 6. Based on IEC 62386-101/102 DALI power on timing and interruption regulations,the set up time needs to test with a DALI controller which can support for DALI power on function,otherwise the set up time will be longer than 500ms.
- 7. Input over voltage only for XLG-200 I series,and I series without UL/CSA certificate.
- 8. The driver is considered as a component that will be operated in combination with final equipment. Since EMC performance will be affected by the complete installation, the final equipment manufacturers must re-qualify EMC Directive on the complete installation again. Can the XLG-200-H-DA2 drive a large LED downlight array in a commercial building with DALI controls?
Yes. The XLG-200-H-DA2 outputs 200W at up to 3500mA constant current with DALI2 interface, making it suitable for powering high-power LED downlight arrays in DALI-controlled commercial environments. The constant current region spans 27–56V, so LED modules must fall within that voltage band.
Is this driver suitable for large-format LED signage requiring intelligent dimming?
Yes. At 200W with DALI2 dimming down to 8% minimum level, it can power high-power LED sign modules whose combined forward voltage falls in the 27–56V range. IP67 protection supports outdoor signage cabinets subject to rain and dust.
Can I use the XLG-200-H-DA2 in a sports or industrial facility with a DALI building management system?
Yes. The DALI2 protocol allows integration with building automation systems for occupancy-based or scheduled dimming. The driver's 200W capacity and adjustable current range of 1750–5550mA accommodate high-lumen LED arrays used in high-bay or sports lighting within the 27–56V constant current region.
What is the minimum dimming level of the XLG-200-H-DA2?
The minimum dimming level via DALI2 is 8%. Below this threshold the driver turns the output off rather than reducing brightness further.
Can the XLG-200-H-DA2 be installed outdoors or in wet industrial environments?
Yes. The driver carries an IP67 waterproof rating and operates from –40°C to +90°C, allowing installation in outdoor enclosures, loading docks, car park structures, and similar wet or cold environments.
How many LEDs can the XLG-200-H-DA2 drive in a series string?
The constant current output region is 27–56V. The number of LEDs in a series string depends on each LED's individual forward voltage — a specific count cannot be stated. Ensure the total string voltage falls within 27–56V at the selected drive current between 1750–5550mA.
How does the XLG-200-H-DA2 differ from the XLG-150-H-DA2 and XLG-240-H-DA2 in the same H/DA2 family?
The XLG-200-H-DA2 outputs 200W at up to 3500mA with a constant current region of 27–56V.
