Overview
XLG-200-12-AB is the 12V output model of this series: rated power 192W, typical efficiency 92%.
XLG-200 series is a 200W LED AC/DC driver featuring the constant power mode. XLG-200 operates from 100~305VAC and offers models with different rated current ranging between 700mA and 16A. Thanks to the high efficiency up to 94%, with the fanless design, the entire series is able to operate for -40℃ ~+90℃ case temperature under free air convection. The design of metal housing and IP67 ingress protection level allows this series to fit both indoor and outdoor applications. Moreover the innovative environment-adaptive capability allows this series to reliably light on the LEDs for all kinds of application environments in almost any spots that may install LED luminaire in the world. XLG-200 series comply with the latest version of IEC61347/GB/T19510.1 and UL8750 intermational safety regulations. The output and dimming circuit are also completely in accordance with the new regulations with isolation to ensure the safety of both user and luminaire system during installation.

Test conditions and notes16
- 1. All parameters NOT specially mentioned are measured at 230VAC input, rated current and 25℃ of ambient temperature.
- 2. Please refer to "DRIVING METHODS OF LED MODULE"(Except for CV-type).
- 3. Ripple & noise are measured at 20MHz of bandwidth by using a 12" twisted pair-wire terminated with a 0.1uf & 47uf parallel capacitor.
- 4. Tolerance : includes set up tolerance, line regulation and load regulation.
- 5. De-rating may be needed under low input voltages. Please refer to “STATIC CHARACTERISTIC” sections for details.
- 6. Length of set up time is measured at first cold start. Turning ON/OFF the driver may lead to increase of the set up time.
- 7. Only CE/ENEC/CB is available for CV-type. XLG-200I series without UL/CSA certificate.
- 8. The driver is considered as a component that will be operated in combination with final equipment. Since EMC performance will be affected by the complete installation, the final equipment manufacturers must re-qualify EMC Directive on the complete installation again. Can the XLG-200-12-AB power 12V LED strip in an outdoor illuminated signage cabinet?
Yes. With an IP67 waterproof rating, the XLG-200-12-AB is sealed against dust and temporary water immersion, making it suitable for outdoor sign boxes, raceways, and illuminated cabinet signage exposed to rain and humidity.
How many meters of 12V LED strip can the XLG-200-12-AB drive?
The XLG-200-12-AB delivers 192W at 12V. For a 14.4 W/m strip that is about 13.3 meters (192 ÷ 14.4); for a 9.6 W/m strip, up to 20 meters. Always confirm your strip's rated power per meter and allow a 20% safety margin when sizing the installation.
Is the XLG-200-12-AB suitable for dimmable 12V LED retail display lighting?
Yes. The AB suffix indicates this model supports dimming, making it compatible with dimming controllers used in retail display lighting that requires adjustable light levels. The 192W capacity at 12V supports wide-area display or showcase illumination.
Can I use the XLG-200-12-AB for 12V LED strip lighting in a cold room or freezer application?
Yes. The -40°C to +90°C case temperature range allows reliable operation in sub-zero cold-room and freezer environments. The IP67 metal enclosure also withstands condensation that builds up as temperature differentials cause moisture in the air to collect on surfaces.

Yes. The 100–305VAC wide-range input automatically handles both 120V and 277V commercial supplies, as well as 230V international grids. No jumper or voltage selector is required.
