  2. 2.Ripple & noise are measured at 20MHz by using a 12" twisted pair terminated with a 0.1uf & 47uf capacitor.

  4. 4.Load regulation is measured from 20% to 100% rated load.
  5. 5.Please prevent the converter from operating in overload or short circuit condition for more than 30 seconds.

Can I use the SCW12C-12 for a 12V automation controller or PLC accessory?

It can fit 12V automation loads that need constant voltage and stay within 1A and 12W. Its input specification is 36-72VDC, so the source side has to match that range.
