Test conditions and notes7
- 1. All parameters NOT specially mentioned are measured at 230VAC input, rated load and 25℃ of ambient temperature.
- 2. Ripple & noise are measured at 20MHz of bandwidth by using a 12" twisted pair-wire terminated with a 0.1μF & 47μF parallel capacitor.
- 3. Tolerance : includes set up tolerance, line regulation and load regulation.
- 4. Derating may be needed under low input voltages. Please check the derating curve for more details.
- 5. Fan always on for 3.3~5V,Fan ON/OFF control for 12~48V.
- 6. The power supply is considered a component which will be installed into a final equipment. The final equipment must be re-confirmed that it still meets EMC directives. For guidance on how to perform these EMC tests, please refer to “EMI testing of component power supplies.” (as available on https://www.meanwell.com//Upload/PDF/EMI_statement_en.pdf )
- 7. The ambient temperature derating of 3.5℃/1000m with fanless models and of 5℃/1000m with fan models for operating altitude higher than 2000m(6500ft).

FAQ
What equipment uses a 3.3V, high-current rail that the RSP-500-3.3 can supply?
The RSP-500-3.3 provides 3.3V at 90A (297W), suitable for powering DRAM subsystems, FPGA I/O logic rails, and logic-level loads in industrial computing boards that require a high-current 3.3V source.
What temperature range does the RSP-500-3.3 operate in?
The RSP-500-3.3 is rated for -30°C to +70°C ambient operation (refer to the derating curve). It is an enclosed type unit with UL62368-1, TÜV BS EN/EN62368-1, AS/NZS 62368.1, EAC, CCC, BSMI and BIS safety approvals.
How does the RSP-500-3.3 compare to the RSP-500-4 and RSP-500-5?
All three share the 230.0 × 127.0 × 40.5 mm chassis and 85-264VAC input. The RSP-500-3.3 provides 297W at 90A, the RSP-500-4 provides 360W at 90A, and the RSP-500-5 provides 450W at 90A. All three run at 90A; total power increases as output voltage rises.
What is the actual rated output power of the RSP-500-3.3?
The RSP-500-3.3 is rated at 297W (3.3V × 90A). The low output voltage limits total power below the RSP-500 series nameplate. It weighs 1.3 kg and includes a 3-year warranty.
