PWM-90-12DA is the 12V output model of this series: rated current 7.5A, rated power 90W, typical efficiency 88%.

PWM-90 series is a 90W LED AC/DC LED driver featuring the constant voltage mode with PWM style output, which is able to maintain the brightness homogeneity when driving all kinds of LED strips.PWM-90 operates from 90～305VAC and offers models with different rated voltage ranging between 12V and 48V. Thanks to the high efficiency up to 90.5%, with the fanless design, the entire series is able to operate for -40℃ ~ +85℃ case temperature under free air convection. The entire series is rated with IP67 ingress protection level and is suitable to work for dry, damp or wet locations. PWM-90 is equipped with dimming function that varies the duty cycle of the output, providing great flexibility for LED strips applications.

Test conditions and notes9

1. All parameters NOT specially mentioned are measured at 230VAC input, rated current and 25℃ of ambient temperature.
2. De-rating may be needed under low input voltages. Please refer to “STATIC CHARACTERISTIC” sections for details.
3. Length of set up time is measured at first cold start. Turning ON/OFF the driver may lead to increase of the set up time.
4. The driver is considered as a component that will be operated in combination with final equipment. Since EMC performance will be affected by the complete installation, the final equipment manufacturers must re-qualify EMC Directive on the complete installation again. Can I use the PWM-90-12DA to power outdoor LED strip lighting?

Is the PWM-90-12DA compatible with a DALI lighting control system?

No. The PWM-90-12DA is the DALI (Device Type 6) model. The PWM-90-12DA2 is the model that includes the native DALI-2 interface, allowing it to receive dimming commands from any DALI-compliant building automation or lighting control system. No separate DALI interface module is required for the DA2 type.

Can I use this driver to power 12V LED strips for cabinet or display case lighting?

Yes. The PWM-90-12DA outputs 12V at up to 7.5A (90W total), which is well suited for 12V LED strip lighting in display cases, under-cabinet installations, or retail shelving. Ensure the combined rated wattage of all strips does not exceed 90W.

How much 12V LED strip can the PWM-90-12DA power?

With a maximum output of 90W at 12V, this driver can power up to 90W of LED strip load. For example, a strip rated at 9W per meter would support 10 meters (90W ÷ 9W/m = 10m). Always check your strip's rated power per meter and apply an 80% derating for continuous operation, which gives a practical limit of about 72W.
