Overview
NPF-60D-48 is the model of this series: rated current 1.25A, rated power 60W, typical efficiency 90%.
NPF-60D series is a 60W AC/DC LED driver featuring the constant current mode output. NPF-60D operates from 90~305VAC and offers models with different rated voltage ranging between 12V and 54V. Thanks to the high efficiency up to 90%, with the fanless design, the entire series is able to operate for -40℃~+85℃ case temperature under free air convection. The entire series is rated with IP67 ingress protection level and is suitable to work for a variety of applications at dry, damp or wet locations. NPF-60D is equipped with the 3 in 1 dimming function so as to provide the design flexibility for LED lighting system.

Test conditions and notes9
- 1. All parameters NOT specially mentioned are measured at 230VAC input, rated current and 25℃ of ambient temperature.
- 2. De-rating may be needed under low input voltages. Please refer to “STATIC CHARACTERISTIC” sections for details.
- 3. Length of set up time is measured at first cold start. Turning ON/OFF the driver may lead to increase of the set up time.
- 4. The standby power consumption is specified for 230VAC.
- 5. The driver is considered as a component that will be operated in combination with final equipment. Since EMC performance will be affected by the complete installation, the final equipment manufacturers must re-qualify EMC Directive on the complete installation again. What dimming methods does the NPF-60D-48 support?
The NPF-60D-48 has built-in 3-in-1 dimming, accepting 0–10VDC, 10V PWM signal and resistance control between DIM+ and DIM-. All three are natively integrated with no external dimming hardware required.
Can the NPF-60D-48 power dimmable 48V LED modules in industrial warehouse lighting?
Yes. The NPF-60D-48 delivers 60W with a constant current of 1.25A and a CC voltage range of 28.8–48V, covering LED high-bay or warehouse modules in that range. Its wide input range of 90–305VAC supports standard and industrial mains supplies.
Is the NPF-60D-48 rated for direct outdoor installation in rainy climates?
Yes. The NPF-60D-48 is IP67 approved for dust protection and resistance to temporary water immersion, and is rated for a working case temperature (Tcase) of -40°C to +85°C. Follow the IP waterproof installation cautions in MEAN WELL's user manual.
Does the NPF-60D-48 require a protective earth ground?
The NPF-60D-48 has a two-conductor input cable (SJTW 18AWG×2C: AC/L brown, AC/N blue) with no earth lead. Refer to MEAN WELL's installation manual for wiring requirements.
