Test conditions and notes13
  1. 1. All parameters NOT specially mentioned are measured at 230VAC input, rated load and 25℃ of ambient temperature.
  2. 2. Ripple & noise are measured at 20MHz of bandwidth by using a 12" twisted pair-wire terminated with a 0.1uf & 47uf parallel capacitor.
  3. 3. Tolerance : includes set up tolerance, line regulation and load regulation.
  4. 4. Derating may be needed under low input voltage. Please check the static characteristics for more details.
  5. 5. The power supply is considered as a component that will be operated in combination with final equipment. Since EMC performance will be affected by the complete installation, the final equipment manufacturers must re-qualify EMC Directive on the complete installation again. Is the LPV-35-15 suitable for outdoor LED strip lighting?

Yes. The LPV-35-15 carries an IP67 rating, meaning it is fully protected against dust and can withstand temporary immersion in water (avoid immersion over 30 minutes). This makes it appropriate for outdoor signage, facade lighting, and covered exterior installations out of direct sunlight where exposure to rain or condensation is likely.

How many metres of 15V LED strip can the LPV-35-15 power?

The LPV-35-15 delivers a maximum of 36W at 15V. To find the compatible strip length, divide 36W by your strip's rated power per metre — for example, a strip rated at 6 W/m would support up to 6 metres (36 ÷ 6 = 6 m). Always check your specific strip's rated power per metre before sizing.

What certifications does the LPV-35-15 hold?

The LPV-35-15 is approved to UL1310 Class 2, CAN/CSA No. 223-M91, IEC62368-1, BS EN/EN62368-1, EAC TP TC 004 and BIS IS15885. These confirm compliance with North American, international/European, Eurasian and Indian safety standards, making the unit suitable for deployments across multiple regions.

Can the LPV-35-15 operate in very cold environments?

Yes. Its operating temperature range spans -30°C to +65°C, so it can run in sub-zero conditions such as outdoor winter installations or unheated enclosures. At higher ambient temperatures the output load must be derated according to the sheet's derating curve.

How does the LPV-35-15 compare to the LPV-35-24 and LPV-35-36 at the same wattage?

All three are 36W IP67 constant-voltage drivers in the same 148 × 40 × 30 mm enclosure. The LPV-35-15 outputs 15V at 2.4A, the LPV-35-24 outputs 24V at 1.5A, and the LPV-35-36 outputs 36V at 1A. Select the voltage that matches your LED strip or signage specification.
