LPF-40-54 is the 54V output model of this series: rated current 0.76A, rated power 41.04W, typical efficiency 90%.

LPF-40 series is a 40W AC/DC LED driver featuring the dual modes constant voltage and constant current output. LPF-40 operates from 90~305VAC and offers models with different rated voltage ranging between 12V and 54V. Thanks to the high efficiency up to 90%, with the fanless design, the entire series is able to operate for -40℃ ~ +80℃ case temperature under free air convection. The entire series is rated with IP67 ingress protection level and is suitable to work for a variety of applications at dry, damp or wet locations.

  1. 1. All parameters NOT specially mentioned are measured at 230VAC input, rated current and 25℃ of ambient temperature.
  2. 2. Please refer to "DRIVING METHODS OF LED MODULE".
  3. 3. Ripple & noise are measured at 20MHz of bandwidth by using a 12" twisted pair-wire terminated with a 0.1uf & 47uf parallel capacitor.
  4. 4. Tolerance : includes set up tolerance, line regulation and load regulation.
  5. 5. De-rating may be needed under low input voltages. Please refer to “STATIC CHARACTERISTIC” sections for details.
  6. 6. Length of set up time is measured at first cold start. Turning ON/OFF the driver may lead to increase of the set up time.
  7. 7. The driver is considered as a component that will be operated in combination with final equipment. Since EMC performance will be affected by the complete installation, the final equipment manufacturers must re-qualify EMC Directive on the complete installation again. Can I use the LPF-40-54 for a 54V LED lighting load?

Yes, either as a 54V constant-voltage supply or to drive LEDs directly in constant-current mode within the 32.4-54V constant-current region. The LPF-40-54 delivers up to 41.04W at 54V and 0.76A.

Is the LPF-40-54 suitable for 54V signage or linear light applications?

It can be used where the sign or linear fixture is a 54V load within 0.76A and 41.04W. Its IP67 waterproof construction also supports use in exposed lighting locations.

Can this model power a 54V LED strip?

Yes, the series works in either constant-voltage or constant-current mode, so a 54V strip can be used as long as it stays within the driver's limit of 41.04W total output at 54V and 0.76A.
