LPF-25-48 is the 48V output model of this series: rated current 0.53A, rated power 25.44W, typical efficiency 87%.

LPF-25 series is a 25W AC/DC LED driver featuring the dual modes constant voltage and constant current output. LPF-25 operates from 90～305VAC and offers models with different rated voltage ranging between 12V and 54V. Thanks to the efficiency up to 87%, with the fanless design, the entire series is able to operate for -35℃ ~ +70℃ case temperature under free air convection. The entire series is rated with IP67 ingress protection level and is suitable to work for a variety of applications at dry, damp or wet locations.

  1. 1. All parameters NOT specially mentioned are measured at 230VAC input, rated current and 25℃ of ambient temperature.
  2. 2. Please refer to "DRIVING METHODS OF LED MODULE".
  3. 3. Ripple & noise are measured at 20MHz of bandwidth by using a 12" twisted pair-wire terminated with a 0.1uf & 47uf parallel capacitor.
  4. 4. Tolerance : includes set up tolerance, line regulation and load regulation.
  5. 5. De-rating may be needed under low input voltages. Please refer to “STATIC CHARACTERISTIC” sections for details.
  6. 6. Length of set up time is measured at first cold start. Turning ON/OFF the driver may lead to increase of the set up time.
  7. 7. The driver is considered as a component that will be operated in combination with final equipment. Since EMC performance will be affected by the complete installation, the final equipment manufacturers must re-qualify EMC Directive on the complete installation again. Can I use the LPF-25-48 with a 48V LED lighting load?

Yes, if the load is designed for 48V constant-voltage input, or for constant-current operation at 0.53A within the 26.4-48V constant-current range. The total connected load must also stay within the 25.44W output rating.

Is this driver suitable for a low-power 48V LED sign?

It can be used for a low-power 48V sign if the sign module requires a constant-current 0.53A driver. The driver operates over 26.4-48V in constant-current mode and provides up to 25.44W output.

Can the LPF-25-48 be used for outdoor decorative lighting?

Yes, the IP67 waterproof rating supports outdoor and wet-location use, and the working case temperature (Tcase) range is -35°C to +70°C. The connected lighting load still needs to match 48V class constant-current operation at 0.53A and stay within 25.44W.

Would this work for a 48V linear LED fixture?

The power limit is 25.44W, so estimated strip length is 25.44W divided by your strip’s rated watts per meter. Check your strip rated power per meter and keep the total load at or below 25.44W.

Can the LPF-25-48 be installed where rain or washdown exposure is possible?

The driver is rated IP67, so it is intended for wet and dusty environments such as rain exposure; the sheet gives no separate rating for pressurized washdown. Its specified working case temperature (Tcase) range is -35°C to +70°C.
