HLG-60H-30B is the 30V output model of this series: rated current 2A, rated power 60W, typical efficiency 90%.

HLG-60H series is a 60W AC/DC LED driver featuring the dual mode constant voltage and constant current output. HLG-60H operates from 90～305VAC and offers models with different rated voltage ranging between 15V and 54V. Thanks to the high efficiency up to 90.5%, with the fanless design, the entire series is able to operate for -40℃ ~ +80℃ case temperature under free air convection. The design of metal housing and IP67/IP65 ingress protection level allows this series to fit both indoor and outdoor applications. HLG-60H is equipped with various function options, such as dimming methodologies, so as to provide the optimal design flexibility for LED lighting system.

  1. 1. All parameters NOT specially mentioned are measured at 230VAC input, rated current and 25℃ of ambient temperature.
  2. 2. Ripple & noise are measured at 20MHz of bandwidth by using a 12" twisted pair-wire terminated with a 0.1uf & 47uf parallel capacitor.
  3. 3. Tolerance : includes set up tolerance, line regulation and load regulation.

  5. 5. De-rating may be needed under low input voltages. Please refer to “STATIC CHARACTERISTIC” sections for details.

Can I use the HLG-60H-30B to power 30V LED strip lighting outdoors?

Yes. The HLG-60H-30B outputs 30V at up to 2A (60W) and carries an IP67 waterproof rating, so it can withstand heavy rain. Its metal housing and -40 to +80 degree Celsius case temperature (Tcase) range make it reliable for year-round outdoor installations.

Is the HLG-60H-30B suitable for dimmable 30V LED landscape lighting?

Yes. The HLG-60H-30B includes a 1-10V/PWM dimming input, so you can pair with a compatible dimmer to control brightness for garden path lights, bollards, or other 30V landscape fixtures. Its IP67 waterproof rating supports fully exposed mounting.

Can I use the HLG-60H-30B to drive 30V LED modules in an outdoor sign?

Yes, as long as the total load does not exceed 60W. The HLG-60H-30B operates in constant-current mode with a CC voltage range of 18-30V, accommodating modules that may operate at slightly lower voltages within that window. The IP67 rating handles rain and moisture typical of exterior signage.

How many meters of 30V LED strip can the HLG-60H-30B drive?

It depends on your strip's power consumption per meter. At 60W output, a strip rated at 12W/m would allow 5 meters (60W / 12W per meter = 5m). A lower-power strip at 6W/m could reach 10 meters. Always check your strip's rated power per meter and keep the total within 60W.

Can the HLG-60H-30B be installed in a location subject to temporary flooding?

The datasheet does not rate it for flooding or submersion, so mount it above expected water levels. Its IP67 rating suits outdoor locations exposed to rain when waterproof connectors are fitted to the cables, following the IP installation cautions in MEAN WELL's user manual. The -40 to +80 degree Celsius case temperature range also covers freezing conditions.
