Overview
HLG-480H-48 is the 48V output model of this series: rated current 10A, rated power 480W, typical efficiency 94.5%.
HLG-480H series is a 480W AC/DC LED driver featuring the dual mode constant voltage and constant current output. HLG-480H operates from 90～305VAC and offers models with different rated voltage ranging between 24V and 54V. Thanks to the high efficiency up to 95.5%, with the fanless design, the entire series is able to operate for -40℃ ~ +90℃ case temperature under free air convection. The design of metal housing and IP67/IP65 ingress protection level allows this series to fit both indoor and outdoor applications.HLG-480H is equipped with various function options, such as dimming methodologies, so as to provide the optimal design flexibility for LED lighting system.

Test conditions and notes13
- 1. All parameters NOT specially mentioned are measured at 230VAC input, rated current and 25℃ of ambient temperature.
- 2. Ripple & noise are measured at 20MHz of bandwidth by using a 12" twisted pair-wire terminated with a 0.1uf & 47uf parallel capacitor.
- 3. Tolerance : includes set up tolerance, line regulation and load regulation.

- 5. De-rating may be needed under low input voltages. Please refer to “STATIC CHARACTERISTIC” sections for details.
- 6. Length of set up time is measured at first cold start. Turning ON/OFF the driver may lead to increase of the set up time.

Can I use the HLG-480H-48 to power a large 48V LED strip lighting system?
Yes. The HLG-480H-48 delivers 480W at 48V and up to 10A. 48V LED strips are popular for long runs because they suffer less voltage drop per meter, and 480W gives you substantial capacity. The constant-current mode with a CC range of 24-48V keeps output stable across varying loads.
Is the HLG-480H-48 a good fit for 48V LED high-bay warehouse lighting?
Yes. At 480W and 48V, it can drive high-bay LED fixtures commonly used in warehouses, factories, and distribution centers. Its wide 90-305VAC input handles industrial power supplies, and the IP67-rated metal housing resists dust and moisture found in industrial environments.
Can the HLG-480H-48 power 48V LED modules in outdoor signage?
Yes. With 480W at 48V and IP67 waterproof protection, it can be mounted outdoors to power 48V LED sign modules directly exposed to the elements. Note that this base model has fixed output with no dimming or adjustment, so brightness cannot be changed after installation.
How many meters of 48V LED strip can the HLG-480H-48 power?
That depends on the strip's rated power per meter. The HLG-480H-48 supplies up to 480W at 48V. For example, a strip drawing 14.4W/m would allow about 33 meters (480W / 14.4W per meter = 33.3m). Always check your strip's rated power per meter and keep total load at or below 480W.
Is the HLG-480H-48 suitable for installation in coastal or high-humidity areas?
For high-humidity areas, yes: the IP67-rated metal housing protects against dust and direct water exposure, and working humidity is specified at 20-95% RH non-condensing. The datasheet makes no salt-spray or corrosion claim, so check coastal exposure against the installation guidelines. Its case temperature (Tcase) range is -40°C to +90°C.
