Overview
HLG-320H-48B is the 48V output model of this series: rated current 6.7A, rated power 321.6W, typical efficiency 95%.
HLG-320H series is a 320W AC/DC LED driver featuring the dual mode constant voltage and constant current output. HLG-320H operates from 90～305VAC and offers models with different rated voltage ranging between 12V and 54V. Thanks to the high efficiency up to 94%, with the fanless design, the entire series is able to operate for -40℃ ~ +90℃ case temperature under free air convection. The design of metal housing and IP67/IP65 ingress protection level allows this series to fit both indoor and outdoor applications. HLG-320H is equipped with various function options, such as dimming methodologies, so as to provide the optimal design flexibility for LED lighting system.

- 1. All parameters NOT specially mentioned are measured at 230VAC input, rated current and 25℃ of ambient temperature.
- 2. Ripple & noise are measured at 20MHz of bandwidth by using a 12" twisted pair-wire terminated with a 0.1uf & 47uf parallel capacitor.
- 3. Tolerance : includes set up tolerance, line regulation and load regulation.
- 4. Please refer to "DRIVING METHODS OF LED MODULE".
- 5. De-rating may be needed under low input voltages. Please refer to “STATIC CHARACTERISTIC” sections for details.
- 6. Length of set up time is measured at first cold start. Turning ON/OFF the driver may lead to increase of the set up time.
- 7. The driver is considered as a component that will be operated in combination with final equipment. Can I use the HLG-320H-48B for outdoor 48V LED strip lighting that needs dimming?
Yes. The HLG-320H-48B delivers 48V at up to 6.7A (320W) with a built-in 3-in-1 dimming input (1-10V, PWM or resistance), and the series' IP65/IP67-rated metal housing is designed for outdoor applications. Check the B-type's IP rating before exposing it directly to rain.
Is the HLG-320H-48B a good fit for dimmable 48V LED facade or building-perimeter lighting?
Yes. With 320W at 48V and an IP65/IP67-rated metal housing, it suits outdoor facade installations. The dimming input lets you create lighting scenes or reduce brightness overnight. The wide 90-305VAC input accommodates commercial mains supplies globally.
Can I use the HLG-320H-48B to power dimmable 48V LED landscape path lights?

How many meters of 48V LED strip can the HLG-320H-48B support?
That depends on the strip's rated power per meter. The HLG-320H-48B supplies up to 320W at 48V. For instance, if your strip draws 15W/m, you could run about 21.3 meters (320W / 15W per meter). Check your strip's rated power per meter and keep total load at or below 320W.
Can the HLG-320H-48B be installed in a location prone to flooding or standing water?
The HLG-320H series is rated IP65 or IP67 depending on type, but the datasheet does not state a submersion depth. For light wells, storm-prone installations, or areas where standing water may occur, check the B-type's rating and the IP installation cautions in MEAN WELL's user manual first.
What are the differences between the HLG-320H-48, 48A, 48AB, and 48B models?
All four share the same 320W / 48V / 6.7A core specs. The base HLG-320H-48 has no output adjustment or dimming. The -48A adds built-in potentiometers for output voltage and current adjustment. The -48AB adds current adjustment plus 3-in-1 dimming (1-10VDC, 10V PWM or resistance). The -48B provides dimming input only. The series is rated IP65 or IP67 depending on type.
