HLG-240H-36B is the 36V output model of this series: rated current 6.7A, rated power 241.2W, typical efficiency 92.5%. Type B: 3 in 1 dimming function (1~10VDC, 10V PWM signal and resistance) (IP67).

HLG-240H series is a 240W AC/DC LED driver featuring the dual mode constant voltage and constant current output. HLG-240H operates from 90～305VAC and offers models with different rated voltage ranging between 12V and 54V. Thanks to the high efficiency up to 93.5%, with the fanless design, the entire series is able to operate for -40℃ ~ +90℃ case temperature under free air convection. The design of metal housing and IP67 ingress protection level allows this series to fit both indoor and outdoor applications. HLG-240H is equipped with various function options, such as dimming methodologies, so as to provide the optimal design flexibility for LED lighting system.

Test conditions and notes13

1. All parameters NOT specially mentioned are measured at 230VAC input, rated current and 25℃ of ambient temperature.
2. Ripple & noise are measured at 20MHz of bandwidth by using a 12" twisted pair-wire terminated with a 0.1uf & 47uf parallel capacitor.
3. Tolerance : includes set up tolerance, line regulation and load regulation.

Can I use the HLG-240H-36B for fully exposed outdoor 36V LED strip installations?

Yes. The HLG-240H-36B carries an IP67 waterproof rating, which protects against dust ingress and temporary submersion. Combined with its -40°C to +90°C case temperature range and metal housing, it can be mounted in fully exposed outdoor locations including rain and snow.

Is the HLG-240H-36B suitable for dimmable 36V LED facade or wash lighting?

Can the HLG-240H-36B be buried in-ground or submerged for landscape lighting?

The IP67 rating protects against temporary submersion, so it can withstand brief immersion. However, it is not designed for permanent submersion. For in-ground installation, use a sealed junction box rated for burial to ensure long-term reliability.
