HLG-240H-24AB is the 24V output model of this series: rated current 10A, rated power 240W, typical efficiency 92.5%. Type AB: Io and Vo adjustable through built-in potentiometer & 3 in 1 dimming function (1~10Vdc, 10V PWM signal and resistance) (IP65).

HLG-240H series is a 240W AC/DC LED driver featuring the dual mode constant voltage and constant current output. HLG-240H operates from 90～305VAC and offers models with different rated voltage ranging between 12V and 54V. Thanks to the high efficiency up to 93.5%, with the fanless design, the entire series is able to operate for -40℃ ~ +90℃ case temperature under free air convection. The design of metal housing and IP65 ingress protection level allows this series to fit both indoor and outdoor applications. HLG-240H is equipped with various function options, such as dimming methodologies, so as to provide the optimal design flexibility for LED lighting system.

Test conditions and notes14

1. All parameters NOT specially mentioned are measured at 230VAC input, rated current and 25℃ of ambient temperature.
2. Ripple & noise are measured at 20MHz of bandwidth by using a 12" twisted pair-wire terminated with a 0.1uf & 47uf parallel capacitor.
3. Tolerance : includes set up tolerance, line regulation and load regulation.

5. De-rating may be needed under low input voltages. Please refer to “STATIC CHARACTERISTIC” sections for details.
6. Length of set up time is measured at first cold start. Turning ON/OFF the driver may lead to increase of the set up time.
7. The driver is considered as a component that will be operated in combination with final equipment. Since EMC performance will be affected by the complete installation, the final equipment manufacturers must re-qualify EMC Directive on the complete installation again. 8. To fulfill requirements of the latest ErP regulation for lighting fixtures, this LED driver can only be used behind a switch without permanently connected to the mains.

Can I use the HLG-240H-24AB for dimmable 24V LED lighting in a hotel lobby?

Yes. The HLG-240H-24AB provides 240W at 24V with both output adjustment and a 1-10V/PWM dimming input, making it well suited for hospitality environments where scene control and mood lighting are important. You can set the maximum output with the potentiometer and control dimming via a wall controller or building management system.

Is the HLG-240H-24AB compatible with standard building automation dimming systems?

Divide 240W by your strip's wattage per meter. For example, a 24V strip rated at 12W/m would allow 20 meters (240W / 12W per meter = 20m). A higher-power strip at 24W/m would allow 10 meters. Check your strip's rated power per meter and keep total load at or below 240W.

Is the HLG-240H-24AB suitable for outdoor use in a sheltered location?

Yes. The IP65 water-resistant rating protects against low-pressure water jets and dust ingress, making it suitable for covered outdoor locations such as soffits, canopies, and covered walkways. It is not rated for submersion. For fully exposed outdoor installations, consider the IP67-rated HLG-240H-24 or HLG-240H-24B.
