HLG-240H-15B is the 15V output model of this series: rated current 15A, rated power 225W, typical efficiency 90%. Type B: 3 in 1 dimming function (1~10VDC, 10V PWM signal and resistance) (IP67).

HLG-240H series is a 240W AC/DC LED driver featuring the dual mode constant voltage and constant current output. HLG-240H operates from 90～305VAC and offers models with different rated voltage ranging between 12V and 54V. Thanks to the high efficiency up to 93.5%, with the fanless design, the entire series is able to operate for -40℃ ~ +90℃ case temperature under free air convection. The design of metal housing and IP67 ingress protection level allows this series to fit both indoor and outdoor applications. HLG-240H is equipped with various function options, such as dimming methodologies, so as to provide the optimal design flexibility for LED lighting system.

Test conditions and notes13

1. All parameters NOT specially mentioned are measured at 230VAC input, rated current and 25℃ of ambient temperature.
2. Ripple & noise are measured at 20MHz of bandwidth by using a 12" twisted pair-wire terminated with a 0.1uf & 47uf parallel capacitor.
3. Tolerance : includes set up tolerance, line regulation and load regulation.

Can I use the HLG-240H-15B for outdoor 15V LED strip lighting with dimming control?

Yes. The HLG-240H-15B outputs 15V at up to 15A (225W) with an IP67 waterproof rating, making it fully suitable for exposed outdoor LED strip installations. The B suffix means it includes a dimming input (1-10V/PWM), so you can use an external dimmer to adjust brightness without needing a separate dimming module.

Can I install the HLG-240H-15B in a location that floods or gets heavy rain?

Yes. The IP67 waterproof rating means it is protected against dust ingress and can withstand temporary submersion. It can be mounted in fully exposed outdoor locations, including areas subject to heavy rain or snow; it is not intended for permanent submersion. Its case temperature range of -40°C to +90°C covers extreme climate conditions.

What are the differences between the HLG-240H-15, 15A, 15AB, and 15B models?

All four share the same 225W / 15V / 15A core output. The base HLG-240H-15 has fixed output with IP67 waterproof rating. The -15A adds an output adjustment potentiometer but drops to IP65. The -15AB adds both adjustment and 1-10V/PWM dimming input at IP65. The -15B (this model) provides dimming input while retaining the full IP67 waterproof rating.
