HLG-185H-24B is the 24V output model of this series: rated current 7.8A, rated power 187.2W, typical efficiency 93.5%. Type B: 3 in 1 dimming function (1~10VDC, 10V PWM signal and resistance) (IP67).

HLG-185H series is a 185W AC/DC LED driver featuring the dual mode constant voltage and constant current output. HLG-185H operates from 90～305VAC and offers models with different rated voltage ranging between 12V and 54V. Thanks to the high efficiency up to 94%, with the fanless design, the entire series is able to operate for -40℃ ~ +90℃ case temperature under free air convection. The design of metal housing and IP67 ingress protection level allows this series to fit both indoor and outdoor applications. HLG-185H is equipped with various function options, such as dimming methodologies, so as to provide the optimal design flexibility for LED lighting system.

Test conditions and notes14

1. All parameters NOT specially mentioned are measured at 230VAC input, rated current and 25℃ of ambient temperature.
2. Ripple & noise are measured at 20MHz of bandwidth by using a 12" twisted pair-wire terminated with a 0.1uf & 47uf parallel capacitor.
3. Tolerance : includes set up tolerance, line regulation and load regulation.

Can I use the HLG-185H-24B for dimmable 24V outdoor LED lighting exposed to rain?

Yes. The HLG-185H series has a metal housing with IP65/IP67 ingress protection that the datasheet says suits outdoor applications, and waterproof connectors are available for the output cable in wet locations. The built-in 1-10V/PWM/resistance dimming input lets you use an external controller to adjust brightness.

Is the HLG-185H-24B suitable for dimmable 24V LED facade or architectural wash lighting?

Yes. At 187.2W and 24V with dimming capability, it works well for architectural wash lights, facade uplighting, and floodlighting where brightness needs to change for different scenes or times. Can the HLG-185H-24B withstand installation in a coastal or high-humidity environment?

The IP65/IP67-rated metal housing protects against dust and moisture ingress, and working humidity is rated 20-95% RH non-condensing. The datasheet gives no salt-spray rating, so for coastal sites also use corrosion-resistant mounting hardware and connectors. The case temperature range is -40°C to +90°C.
