Overview
HLG-100H-48 is the 48V output model of this series: rated current 2A, rated power 96W, typical efficiency 93%.
HLG-100H series is a 100W AC/DC LED driver featuring the dual mode constant voltage and constant current output. HLG-100H operates from 90～305VAC and offers models with different rated voltage ranging between 20V and 54V. Thanks to the high efficiency up to 93%, with the fanless design, the entire series is able to operate for -40℃ ~ +80℃ case temperature under free air convection. The design of metal housing and IP67/IP65 ingress protection level allows this series to fit both indoor and outdoor applications. HLG-100H is equipped with various function options, such as dimming methodologies, so as to provide the optimal design flexibility for LED lighting system.

- 1. All parameters NOT specially mentioned are measured at 230VAC input, rated current and 25℃ of ambient temperature.
- 2. Ripple & noise are measured at 20MHz of bandwidth by using a 12" twisted pair-wire terminated with a 0.1uf & 47uf parallel capacitor.
- 3. Tolerance : includes set up tolerance, line regulation and load regulation.

- 5. De-rating may be needed under low input voltages. Please refer to “STATIC CHARACTERISTIC” sections for details.

Can I use the HLG-100H-48 to power 48V LED strip lighting for commercial interiors?
Yes. The HLG-100H-48 delivers 48V at up to 2A (96W rated power) in constant-voltage or constant-current mode. 48V LED strips are common in commercial settings because the higher voltage reduces current draw and allows longer runs with less voltage drop. The wide 90-305VAC input handles different mains supplies worldwide.
Is the HLG-100H-48 suitable for powering 48V LED modules in outdoor signage?
Yes. With the HLG-100H series' IP65/IP67 metal-housing design, the HLG-100H-48 can be mounted in outdoor sign enclosures where it may be exposed to rain and dust, with a case temperature range of -40°C to +80°C (Tcase). Can I power 48V DC equipment such as LED panels or network devices with the HLG-100H-48?
The HLG-100H-48 is an LED driver that works in constant-voltage mode at 48V or in constant-current mode across 24-48V, so it suits 48V LED panels within 2A and 96W. It is specified as an LED driver rather than a general-purpose 48V DC supply, so for non-lighting equipment such as network devices, choose a supply intended for that use.
How many meters of 48V LED strip can the HLG-100H-48 support?
Divide the driver's 96W rated power by your strip's rated wattage per meter. For example, a 48V strip drawing 5W/m would allow up to 19.2 meters (96W / 5W per meter = 19.2m). Check your strip's rated power per meter and keep total load at or below 96W.
Can the HLG-100H-48 be installed in a wet location such as a car wash or marine dock?
Yes, with care. The HLG-100H series' metal housing has IP65/IP67 ingress protection and, with a waterproof connector on the output cable, can operate in wet or damp locations like car wash bays, docks and outdoor fountain lighting. The sheet gives no rating for high-pressure jets or salt spray, so mount it away from direct spray and confirm this type's exact IP rating.
What are the differences between the HLG-100H-48, 48A, 48AB, and 48B variants?
All four share the same 96W, 48V, 2A core output. The base HLG-100H-48 has fixed output. The -48A adds adjustable output via potentiometers (43-53V, 1.25-2A). The -48AB provides both adjustable output and dimming. The -48B offers dimming without potentiometer adjustment. The series comes in IP65 and IP67 versions; check the rating of each type.
