Overview
HLG-100H-30AB is the 30V output model of this series: rated current 3.2A, rated power 96W, typical efficiency 93%. Type AB: Io and Vo adjustable through built-in potentiometer & 3 in 1 dimming function (1~10Vdc, 10V PWM signal and resistance) (IP65).
HLG-100H series is a 100W AC/DC LED driver featuring the dual mode constant voltage and constant current output. HLG-100H operates from 90～305VAC and offers models with different rated voltage ranging between 20V and 54V. Thanks to the high efficiency up to 93%, with the fanless design, the entire series is able to operate for -40℃ ~ +80℃ case temperature under free air convection. The design of metal housing and IP65 ingress protection level allows this series to fit both indoor and outdoor applications. HLG-100H is equipped with various function options, such as dimming methodologies, so as to provide the optimal design flexibility for LED lighting system.

- 1. All parameters NOT specially mentioned are measured at 230VAC input, rated current and 25℃ of ambient temperature.
- 2. Ripple & noise are measured at 20MHz of bandwidth by using a 12" twisted pair-wire terminated with a 0.1uf & 47uf parallel capacitor.
- 3. Tolerance : includes set up tolerance, line regulation and load regulation.

- 5. De-rating may be needed under low input voltages. Please refer to “STATIC CHARACTERISTIC” sections for details.
- 6. Length of set up time is measured at first cold start. Turning ON/OFF the driver may lead to increase of the set up time.
- 7. The driver is considered as a component that will be operated in combination with final equipment. Since EMC performance will be affected by the complete installation, the final equipment manufacturers must re-qualify EMC Directive on the complete installation again. - 8. To fulfill requirements of the latest ErP regulation for lighting fixtures, this LED driver can only be used behind a switch without permanently connected to the mains.

Can I use the HLG-100H-30AB with a 0-10V dimmer to control 30V LED strip brightness?
The HLG-100H-30AB accepts 1-10VDC, 10V PWM (100Hz-3kHz) or resistance dimming between DIM+ and DIM-, so it works with controllers that provide a 1-10V signal. For turning the fixture fully off (0%), the sheet recommends a switch and relay on the AC input. The driver handles up to 96W of total load at 30V.
Is the HLG-100H-30AB suitable for dimmable 30V LED retail display lighting?
It is a strong choice for retail display lighting where both adjustable output and dimming are needed. The built-in potentiometer lets you set the baseline output, while the dimming input allows scene-based brightness control. At 96W and 30V output, it can drive moderate retail LED arrays.
Can I power a 30V dimmable LED light box with the HLG-100H-30AB?
Yes, provided the light box draws 96W or less. The HLG-100H-30AB delivers 30V at up to 3.2A in constant-current mode, and its dimming input lets you reduce brightness for ambient environments or energy savings. Its wide 90-305VAC input also handles different mains voltages.
How long of a 30V LED strip run can the HLG-100H-30AB handle?
With 96W available at 30V, divide 96 by your strip's wattage per meter. A 30V strip rated at 8W/m could run up to 12 meters (96W / 8W per meter). Check your strip's rated power per meter and keep total draw at or below 96W for reliable operation.
Can the HLG-100H-30AB be used outdoors in a covered patio or canopy area?
Yes. The HLG-100H series' IP65/IP67 metal-housing design suits covered outdoor areas. However, it should not be submerged or exposed to high-pressure washing; for fully exposed wet locations, confirm the exact IP rating of this AB-type first.
What operating temperature range does the HLG-100H-30AB support?
The HLG-100H-30AB is specified for a case temperature (Tcase) of -40°C to +80°C, making it suitable for cold-climate installations as well as warm enclosed spaces. At higher temperatures the output load must be derated according to the sheet's OUTPUT LOAD vs TEMPERATURE curve, so ensure adequate ventilation in hot enclosures.
