HLG-100H series is a 100W AC/DC LED driver featuring the dual mode constant voltage and constant current output. HLG-100H operates from 90～305VAC and offers models with different rated voltage ranging between 20V and 54V. Thanks to the high efficiency up to 93%, with the fanless design, the entire series is able to operate for -40℃ ~ +80℃ case temperature under free air convection. The design of metal housing and IP67 ingress protection level allows this series to fit both indoor and outdoor applications. HLG-100H is equipped with various function options, such as dimming methodologies, so as to provide the optimal design flexibility for LED lighting system.

Test conditions and notes14

1. All parameters NOT specially mentioned are measured at 230VAC input, rated current and 25℃ of ambient temperature.
2. Ripple & noise are measured at 20MHz of bandwidth by using a 12" twisted pair-wire terminated with a 0.1uf & 47uf parallel capacitor.
3. Tolerance : includes set up tolerance, line regulation and load regulation.

Can I use the HLG-100H-20 to power 20V LED strip lighting outdoors?

Yes. The HLG-100H-20 outputs 20V at up to 4.8A, and the HLG-100H series' IP65/IP67 metal-housing design is intended for indoor and outdoor applications; use a waterproof connector on the output cable for outdoor 20V LED strip installations. Its -40°C to +80°C case temperature (Tcase) range also handles harsh temperature swings.

Is the HLG-100H-20 suitable for powering 20V LED signage?

Yes. With 96W of rated output at 20V, the HLG-100H-20 can drive 20V LED sign modules. The series' IP65/IP67 design and wide 90-305VAC input make it a good fit for outdoor channel-letter or cabinet signs where weather exposure and varying mains voltages are common.

Can I run 20V LED panel lights from the HLG-100H-20?

Yes, provided the panels operate at 20V and their combined load stays within 96W. The HLG-100H-20 works in constant-voltage mode at 20V or in constant-current mode at 4.8A across a 10-20V region, so it can also drive LED panels directly whose forward voltage is below 20V.

How many meters of 20V LED strip can the HLG-100H-20 power?

That depends on the strip's rated power per meter. The HLG-100H-20 supplies up to 96W at 20V. For example, if your strip draws 10W/m, you could run up to 9.6 meters (96W / 10W per meter = 9.6m). Always check your strip's rated power per meter and keep total load at or below 96W.

Can the HLG-100H-20 be installed in a wet-location junction box or outdoor enclosure?

Yes. The HLG-100H series has IP65/IP67 ingress protection and is designed for outdoor applications. It can be mounted in outdoor enclosures, wet-location junction boxes, or exposed to rain; use a waterproof connector or cable joiner on the output cable for wet, damp or outdoor connections.

What are the differences between the HLG-100H-20, 20A, 20AB, and 20B models?

All four share the same 96W / 20V / 4.8A core specs. The base HLG-100H-20 has no output adjustment. The -20A adds output voltage/current adjustment via built-in potentiometers. The -20AB adds both adjustment and 1-10V/PWM/resistance dimming input. The -20B adds dimming input only. The series comes in IP65 and IP67 versions; check the rating of each type.
