HBG-240-24B is the 24V output model of this series: rated current 10A, rated power 240W, typical efficiency 92.5%. Type B: 3 in 1 dimming function (1~10Vdc, 10V PWM signal and resistance) (IP67).

HBG-240 series is a 240W AC/DC LED driver featuring the circular shape design. It operates from 90~305VAC and offers the dual modes constant voltage and constant current output models with different rated voltage between 24V and 60V. Thanks to the high efficiency up to 93.5%, with the fanless design, the entire series is able to operate for -40℃ ~ +75℃ case temperature under free air convection. The design of metal housing and IP67 ingress protection level allows this series to fit both indoor and outdoor applications. HBG-240 is equipped with various function options, such as dimming methodologies, so as to provide the optimal design flexibility for LED lighting system.

  3. 3. Ripple & noise are measured at 20MHz of bandwidth by using a 12" twisted pair-wire terminated with a 0.1uf & 47uf parallel capacitor.
  4. 4. Tolerance : includes set up tolerance, line regulation and load regulation.
  5. 5. De-rating may be needed under low input voltages. Please refer to “STATIC CHARACTERISTIC” sections for details.

Can I use the HBG-240-24B for long 24V LED strip runs on an outdoor building outline?

Yes, it is built for 24V output and has up to 240W available at 10A. As part of the IP65 or IP67 approved HBG-240 series, it is also a better fit for outdoor lighting locations than indoor-only drivers, as long as your total 24V load stays within 240W.

Is the HBG-240-24B suitable for 24V illuminated signage and channel letter lighting?

It can be a fit for 24V signage loads that need a 24V driver with up to 240W capacity. For larger sign layouts, confirm the combined load does not exceed 10A and 240W.

Can this model be used for wet-location architectural or facade lighting?
