  1. 1. All parameters NOT specially mentioned are measured at 230VAC input, rated load and 25℃ of ambient temperature.
  2. 2. Ripple & noise are measured at 20MHz of bandwidth by using a 12" twisted pair-wire terminated with a 0.1μF & 47μF parallel capacitor.
  3. 3. Tolerance : includes set up tolerance, line regulation and load regulation.
  4. 4. The power supply is considered a component which will be installed into a final equipment. All the EMC tests are been executed by mounting the unit on a 360mm*360mm metal plate with 1mm of thickness. The final equipment must be re-confirmed that it still meets EMC directives. For guidance on how to perform these EMC tests, please refer to "EMI testing of component power supplies." (as available on https://www.meanwell.com//Upload/PDF/EMI_statement_en.pdf )

Can I use the EPS-25-5 for a 5V industrial single-board computer or embedded controller?

Yes, if the device requires constant-voltage 5V DC and draws no more than 5A or 25W. That makes it suitable for many embedded computing and control applications built around a 5V input rail.

Is the EPS-25-5 suitable for 5V logic, sensors, and interface boards inside a control cabinet?

It can be, as long as the combined 5V load stays within 25W and 5A. For low-voltage logic, interface boards, and sensor electronics, the important match is a stable 5V constant-voltage output.

Can this 5V 25W supply power a small test, measurement, or lab fixture?

Yes, for 5V fixtures or bench devices that remain at or below 5A. Its compact 76.2 x 50.8 x 24.0 mm footprint is also useful where the power section has to fit into a small enclosure.

Is the EPS-25-5 intended for outdoor or sealed-enclosure use?
