Test conditions and notes9

1. All parameters NOT specially mentioned are measured at 230VAC input, rated load and 25℃ of ambient temperature.
2. Ripple & noise are measured at 20MHz of bandwidth by using a 12" twisted pair-wire terminated with a 0.1uf & 47uf parallel capacitor.
3. Tolerance : includes set up tolerance, line regulation and load regulation.
4. Derating may be needed under low input voltage. Please check the static characteristics for more details.
5. The power supply is considered as a component that will be operated in combination with final equipment. Since EMC performance will be affected by the complete installation, the final equipment manufacturers must re-qualify EMC Directive on the complete installation again. What LED lighting systems operate at 36V and would use the APV-25-36?

The APV-25-36 outputs 36V at 0.7A for a maximum of 25.2W. It suits 36V LED strip products, some LED module arrays designed for 36V nominal supply, and specialty LED signage components rated at 36V. Always verify your LED product's nominal voltage is 36V before selecting this driver.

How does the APV-25-36 differ from the APV-25-24 and APV-25-12 in the same wattage class?

All three APV-25 variants provide approximately 25.2W from the same 84.0 × 57.0 × 29.5 mm housing and 90–264VAC input. The APV-25-12 outputs 12V at 2.1A; the APV-25-24 outputs 24V at 1.05A; the APV-25-36 outputs 36V at 0.7A. The output voltage determines which load voltage they match — wattage and form factor are identical.

How much 36V LED strip can the APV-25-36 support?

The APV-25-36 delivers 25.2W at 36V. At a 36V strip rated 7.2 W/m, the maximum length is approximately 3.5 m. Divide 25.2W by your strip's rated power per meter to calculate your specific maximum, and check your strip's rated power per meter before purchasing.

Is the APV-25-36 suitable for outdoor LED signage?

The APV-25-36 carries an IP42 rating, which protects against solid objects larger than 1 mm and light dripping water only. It is not rated for outdoor, rain, or splash environments. For outdoor 36V LED signage, the driver must be installed in a sealed IP65 or higher rated enclosure, or a driver with higher native IP protection must be selected.
