Overview

LPF-60D-20 is the 20V output model of this series: rated current 3A, rated power 60W, typical efficiency 88%.

LPF-60D series is a 60W AC/DC LED driver featuring the constant current output. LPF-60D operates from 90～305VAC and offers models with different rated voltage ranging between 12V and 54V. Thanks to the high efficiency up to 90%, with the fanless design, the entire series is able to operate for -40℃ ~ +80℃ case temperature under free air convection. The entire series is rated with IP67 ingress protection level and is suitable to work for a variety of applications at dry, damp or wet locations. LPF-60D is equipped with the 3 in 1 dimming function so as to provide the design flexibility for LED lighting system.

  1. 1. All parameters NOT specially mentioned are measured at 230VAC input, rated current and 25℃ of ambient temperature.
  2. 2. Please refer to "DRIVING METHODS OF LED MODULE".
  3. 3. Ripple & noise are measured at 20MHz of bandwidth by using a 12" twisted pair-wire terminated with a 0.1uf & 47uf parallel capacitor.
  4. 4. Tolerance : includes set up tolerance, line regulation and load regulation.
  5. 5. De-rating may be needed under low input voltages. Please refer to “STATIC CHARACTERISTIC” sections for details.
  6. 6. Length of set up time is measured at first cold start. Turning ON/OFF the driver may lead to increase of the set up time.
  7. 7. The driver is considered as a component that will be operated in combination with final equipment. Since EMC performance will be affected by the complete installation, the final equipment manufacturers must re-qualify EMC Directive on the complete installation again. Can I use the LPF-60D-20 for 20V LED strip or tape lighting?

Only if the strip is a constant current load within 12-20V that stays within this driver's 60W maximum and 3A output; this is a constant current driver, so it is not a match for constant voltage strip. To estimate maximum strip length, divide 60W by your strip's rated watts per meter, and check your strip rated power per meter before selecting the final length.

Is the LPF-60D-20 suitable for 20V signage lighting?

It can be used for constant current LED sign loads within 12-20V that stay within 60W and 3A. The built-in 3 in 1 dimming can also be useful where sign brightness needs adjustment.

Can this driver be used for outdoor 20V accent lighting?

Yes, for constant current LED lighting products within 12-20V that do not exceed the rated output. Its IP67 waterproof rating and a working case temperature (Tcase) range of -40°C to +80°C, with load derating at higher temperatures, make it suitable for exposed outdoor conditions.
