ELG-150-54 is the 54V output model of this series: rated current 2.8A, typical efficiency 91%.
ELG-150 series is a 150W AC/DC LED driver featuring the dual mode constant voltage and constant current output. ELG-150 operates from 100~305VAC and offers models with different rated voltage ranging between 12V and 54V. Thanks to the high efficiency up to 91%, with the fanless design, the entire series is able to operate for -40℃ ~ +90℃ case temperature under free air convection. The design of metal housing and IP67/IP65 ingress protection level allows this series to fit both indoor and outdoor applications. ELG-150 is equipped with various function options, such as dimming methodologies, so as to provide the optimal design flexibility for LED lighting system

Test conditions and notes14
- 1. All parameters NOT specially mentioned are measured at 230VAC input, rated current and 25℃ of ambient temperature.
- 2. Please refer to "DRIVING METHODS OF LED MODULE". For DA-Type, Constant Current region is 60%~100% of maximum voltage under rated power delivery.
- 3. Ripple & noise are measured at 20MHz of bandwidth by using a 12" twisted pair-wire terminated with a 0.1uf & 47uf parallel capacitor.
- 4. Tolerance : includes set up tolerance, line regulation and load regulation.
- 5. De-rating may be needed under low input voltages. Please refer to “STATIC CHARACTERISTICS” sections for details.
- 6. Length of set up time is measured at first cold start. Turning ON/OFF the driver may lead to increase of the set up time.
- 7. The driver is considered as a component that will be operated in combination with final equipment. Since EMC performance will be affected by the complete installation, the final equipment manufacturers must re-qualify EMC Directive on the complete installation again. - 12. To fulfill requirements of the latest ErP regulation for lighting fixtures, this LED power supply can only be used behind a switch without permanently connected to the mains.

ELG-150-12(except blank/A-Type) is used for any light source that exempt from the ErP-Directive (EU) 2019/2020 requirement, for example this model could be use for signalling products(including, but not limited to road-, railway-, marineorair traffic-signalling , traffic control or airfield lamps) .

Can the ELG-150-54 be mounted outdoors in a rain-exposed signage installation?
Yes. The ELG-150-54 is rated IP67, meaning it is fully sealed against dust ingress and can withstand temporary water immersion. It can be installed inside outdoor sign cabinets, facade-mounted enclosures, or ground-level housings exposed to rain without additional weatherproofing.
Is the ELG-150-54 suitable for powering 54V LED strip in large-format architectural cove lighting?
Yes. The 54V output and 151.2W total power make this driver a strong match for high-density 54V LED strip runs in architectural cove or valance installations. The constant-current mode with a 27–54V CC range gives consistent current through the LED load as voltage varies across the strip.

How many meters of 54V LED strip can the ELG-150-54 support?
The ELG-150-54 delivers 151.2W at 54V. Divide 151.2W by your strip's rated power per meter—for example, a 10 W/m strip allows approximately 15 meters, and a 15 W/m strip allows approximately 10 meters. Always check your strip's rated power per meter and apply a 20% derating margin for thermal reliability.
Is the ELG-150-54 appropriate for LED strip lighting in cold-storage or freezer environments?
Yes. With a case temperature (Tcase) range of -40°C to +90°C, this driver starts and runs reliably in cold-storage and freezer applications. The IP67 sealed enclosure protects against moisture, but the sheet specifies 20–95% RH non-condensing working humidity, so avoid spots where condensation forms on the driver.
What is the difference between the ELG-150-54 and the ELG-150-54B in this series?
Both the ELG-150-54 and ELG-150-54B output 151.2W at 54V / 2.8A with IP67 protection and a 27–54V CC range. The key difference is that the ELG-150-54B adds 3-in-1 dimming (0–10V, PWM, and resistance), while the ELG-150-54 has no dimming control. Choose the base model when dimming is not required.
