Overview
DDR-60G-15 is the 15V output model of this series: rated current 4A, rated power 60W, typical efficiency 91%.
DDR-60 series is a 60W DIN Rail type DC-DC converter with main features including DIN rail-type easy installation, ultra slim width (52.5mm), 4:1 ultra wide input voltage, -40~+85℃ wide operating temperature, 4KVdc I/O isolation, adjustable output voltage ( 10%) and full protective functions...etc. This series has two input options: 9~36V /18~75V and various output options: 5V / 12V / 15V / 24V and can be used for industrial control, security control, communication system and other fields. Suitable applications are DC buck/boost regulator, increasing system insulation level and voltage drop compensation along cable...etc.

Test conditions and notes6
- 1. All parameters NOT specially mentioned are measured at normal input (G:24Vdc, L:48Vdc), rated load and 25℃ of ambient temperature.
- 2. Ripple & noise are measured at 20MHz of bandwidth by using a 12" twisted pair-wire terminated with a 0.1μF & 47μF parallel capacitor.
- 3. Tolerance : includes set up tolerance, line regulation and load regulation.
- 4. Derating may be needed under low input voltage. Please check the derating curve for more details.
- 5. The power supply is considered as an independent unit, but the final equipment still need to re-confirm that the whole system complies with the EMC directives. Can I use the DDR-60G-15 to provide a 15V rail for legacy industrial instrumentation from a 24V bus?
Yes. The DDR-60G-15 accepts 9-36V DC input, covering standard 24V industrial DC buses. It outputs 15V at up to 4A (60W), making it suitable for powering older instrumentation, analog signal conditioning modules, and other equipment that requires a 15V supply.
Is the DDR-60G-15 appropriate for powering 15V audio or test equipment in a mobile setup with a 12V battery?
The DDR-60G-15 accepts input as low as 9V DC (it turns off at 8.5V or below), so it can operate from a 12V battery, though the datasheet notes derating may be needed at low input voltage. It provides a regulated 15V output at up to 4A, which is enough for many bench instruments, audio amplifiers, or measurement devices. Its compact 90 x 54.5 x 52.5 mm size and 0.216 kg weight support portable applications.
Can the DDR-60G-15 power 15V control boards in a vehicle or marine application?
The DDR-60G-15 can run from 12V or 24V nominal systems as long as the supply stays within its 9-36V input range; higher transients such as load dumps are outside that range. It is rated for -40 to +85 degrees C (with derating) and 5-95% RH non-condensing, so in marine use it must be installed in a protected, dry enclosure.
Is the DDR-60G-15 rated for use in environments with high humidity or condensation risk?
The DDR-60G-15 is rated for 5-95% RH non-condensing and does not carry an IP ingress protection rating, so it should not be exposed directly to moisture or condensation. For humid environments, install it inside a sealed, protected enclosure that keeps condensation off the unit. The unit itself operates from -40 to +85 degrees Celsius (with derating per the derating curve), so temperature is not typically the limiting factor.
What other output voltages are available in the DDR-60G series?
The DDR-60G series (9-36V input) comes in four output variants: DDR-60G-5 at 54W/5V/10.8A, DDR-60G-12 at 60W/12V/5A, DDR-60G-15 at 60W/15V/4A, and DDR-60G-24 at 60W/24V/2.5A. For a higher input range of 18-75V, the DDR-60L series offers the same output voltage options.
