Test conditions and notes13
- 1. All parameters NOT specially mentioned are measured at 230VAC input, rated load and 25℃ of ambient temperature.
- 2. Ripple & noise are measured at 20MHz of bandwidth by using a 12" twisted pair-wire terminated with a 0.1uf & 47uf parallel capacitor.
- 3. Tolerance : includes set up tolerance, line regulation and load regulation.
- 4. Derating may be needed under low input voltage. Please check the static characteristics for more details.
- 5. Output voltage can be adjusted through the SVR1 on the PCB ; limit of output constant current level can be adjusted through the SVR2 on the PCB.
- 6. Please refer to "DRIVING METHODS OF LED MODULE".
- 7. The power supply is considered as a component that will be operated in combination with final equipment. Since EMC performance will be affected by the complete installation, the final equipment manufacturers must re-qualify EMC Directive on the complete installation again. - 8. Direct connecting to LEDs is suggested, but is not suitable for using additional drivers.
- 9. To fulfill requirements of the latest ErP regulation for lighting fixtures, this LED power supply can only be used behind a switch without permanently connected to the mains.
- 10.The ambient temperature derating of 3.5℃/1000m with fanless models and of 5℃/1000m with fan models for operating altitude higher than 2000m(6500ft).

Can I use the PLN-60-36 for 36V LED signage lighting?
Yes, if the signage load is a constant-current LED system that operates within the 25.2-36V range. This driver supplies 36V nominal output, 1.7A, and up to 61.2W, so the sign modules need to stay within those limits.
Is the PLN-60-36 suitable for architectural linear lighting?
It is suitable for architectural or linear lighting fixtures built around constant-current LED engines in the 25.2-36V CC range. The output is rated at 1.7A, so the light engine has to be designed for that current level.
Can the PLN-60-36 be used for display lighting or illuminated light boxes?
It can be used for display lighting or light-box applications when the LED load is a constant-current design within 25.2-36V. The 90-295VAC input range also helps in installations where supply voltage may vary across regions or sites.
How much 36V LED strip can the PLN-60-36 support?
Only use it with strip lighting that is specifically designed for constant-current 36V operation and stays within the 25.2-36V range. The maximum load is 61.2W, so estimated strip length = 61.2W divided by your strip's rated power per meter; check your strip rated power per meter before sizing.
Is the PLN-60-36 suitable for wet or outdoor environments?
The IP64 housing is appropriate for environments with dust exposure and splashing water, including protected outdoor or damp lighting enclosures. Its operating temperature range of -30°C to +50°C also supports use in cold and warm conditions, provided the application does not need a higher IP rating than IP64.
