LPF-90D-30 is the 30V output model of this series: rated current 3A, rated power 90W, typical efficiency 90.5%.

LPF-90D series is a 90W AC/DC LED driver featuring the constant current output. LPF-90D operates from 90~305VAC and offers models with different rated voltage ranging between 15V and 54V. Thanks to the high efficiency up to 90.5%, with the fanless design, the entire series is able to operate for -40℃ ~ +70℃ case temperature under free air convection. The entire series is rated with IP67 ingress protection level and is suitable to work for a variety of applications at dry, damp or wet locations. LPF-90D is equipped with the 3 in 1 dimming function so as to provide the design flexibility for LED lighting system.

  3. 3. Ripple & noise are measured at 20MHz of bandwidth by using a 12" twisted pair-wire terminated with a 0.1uf & 47uf parallel capacitor.
  4. 4. Tolerance : includes set up tolerance, line regulation and load regulation.

Can I use the LPF-90D-30 with a 30V LED strip or tape light system?

Yes, if the lighting product is designed for constant current drive and the total load stays within 90W. This constant current model outputs 3A across an 18-30V region, so it can support a larger 30V strip load than lower-wattage 30V drivers, but check your strip rated power per meter before sizing.

Is the LPF-90D-30 suitable for 30V channel-letter or cabinet sign lighting?

It can be used where the sign lighting system is built around 30V LED modules or strips and stays at or below 90W. The IP67 waterproof rating is also appropriate for exposed signage or damp commercial environments.

Can this driver power a 30V LED lighting fixture in harsh conditions?

Yes, for 30V lighting products designed for constant current operation within the 18-30V region at 3A. The unit is IP67 waterproof and rated for a Tcase of -40°C to +70°C (derating per the load vs temperature curve), which supports demanding indoor and outdoor use.

How much 30V LED strip can the LPF-90D-30 handle?

Calculate it as 90W divided by the strip wattage per meter. Because this driver is limited to 90W total at 30V and 3A, the final strip length depends on your strip rated power per meter, so check that value before choosing a run length.
