LPF-25D-20 is the 20V output model of this series: rated current 1.25A, rated power 25W, typical efficiency 85%.

LPF-25D series is a 25W AC/DC LED driver featuring the constant current output. LPF-25D operates from 90～305VAC and offers models with different rated voltage ranging between 12V and 54V. Thanks to the efficiency up to 86%, with the fanless design, the entire series is able to operate for -35℃ ~ +70℃ case temperature under free air convection. The entire series is rated with IP67 ingress protection level and is suitable to work for a variety of applications at dry, damp or wet locations. LPF-25D is equipped with the 3 in 1 dimming function so as to provide the design flexibility for LED lighting system.

  1. 1. All parameters NOT specially mentioned are measured at 230VAC input, rated current and 25℃ of ambient temperature.
  2. 2. Please refer to "DRIVING METHODS OF LED MODULE".
  3. 3. Ripple & noise are measured at 20MHz of bandwidth by using a 12" twisted pair-wire terminated with a 0.1uf & 47uf parallel capacitor.
  4. 4. Tolerance : includes set up tolerance, line regulation and load regulation.
  5. 5. De-rating may be needed under low input voltages. Please refer to “STATIC CHARACTERISTIC” sections for details.
  6. 6. Length of set up time is measured at first cold start. Turning ON/OFF the driver may lead to increase of the set up time.
  7. 7. The driver is considered as a component that will be operated in combination with final equipment. Since EMC performance will be affected by the complete installation, the final equipment manufacturers must re-qualify EMC Directive on the complete installation again. Can I use the LPF-25D-20 for 20V LED strip lighting?

Only if the strip or lighting product is a constant-current load. The LPF-25D-20 works in constant current mode, delivering 1.25A within an 11–20V constant current region (25W max), so it is not a constant-voltage 20V strip supply. Check that your LED load is rated for 1.25A before final selection.

Is the LPF-25D-20 suitable for 20V sign lighting?

It can be, as long as the sign LEDs are a constant-current load rated for 1.25A and operating within 11–20V, up to 25W. Its IP67 rating makes it appropriate where the driver may be exposed to rain or dust. Confirm the lighting load is designed for constant-current drive.

Can this model power dimmable 20V decorative or display lighting?

Yes, for constant-current decorative, display, or accent lighting rated for 1.25A within the 11–20V range and 25W. The built-in 3 in 1 dimming feature (1–10VDC, 10V PWM or resistance) makes it appropriate where adjustable brightness is needed. Constant-voltage 20V products are not a match.

How much 20V LED strip can the LPF-25D-20 support?

The output is 25W at a constant 1.25A within an 11–20V constant current region. As a constant-current driver it is not sized with the W/m formula used for constant-voltage strips; the load must be rated for 1.25A with an operating voltage within 11–20V.

Can the LPF-25D-20 be used in outdoor or wet locations?

Yes. It is IP67 rated and specified for a case temperature (Tcase) of -35°C to +70°C, with load derating at higher temperatures per the output load vs temperature curve. That makes it suitable for outdoor and wet environments when paired with a properly rated lighting load.
