LPF-25D-12 is the 12V output model of this series: rated current 2.1A, rated power 25.2W, typical efficiency 84%.

LPF-25D series is a 25W AC/DC LED driver featuring the constant current output. LPF-25D operates from 90～305VAC and offers models with different rated voltage ranging between 12V and 54V. Thanks to the efficiency up to 86%, with the fanless design, the entire series is able to operate for -35℃ ~ +70℃ case temperature under free air convection. The entire series is rated with IP67 ingress protection level and is suitable to work for a variety of applications at dry, damp or wet locations. LPF-25D is equipped with the 3 in 1 dimming function so as to provide the design flexibility for LED lighting system.

Test conditions and notes12

1. All parameters NOT specially mentioned are measured at 230VAC input, rated current and 25℃ of ambient temperature.
2. Please refer to "DRIVING METHODS OF LED MODULE".
3. Ripple & noise are measured at 20MHz of bandwidth by using a 12" twisted pair-wire terminated with a 0.1uf & 47uf parallel capacitor.
4. Tolerance : includes set up tolerance, line regulation and load regulation.
5. De-rating may be needed under low input voltages. Please refer to “STATIC CHARACTERISTIC” sections for details.
6. Length of set up time is measured at first cold start. Turning ON/OFF the driver may lead to increase of the set up time.
7. The driver is considered as a component that will be operated in combination with final equipment. Since EMC performance will be affected by the complete installation, the final equipment manufacturers must re-qualify EMC Directive on the complete installation again. Can I use the LPF-25D-12 for 12V LED strip lighting?

Only if the LED load is a constant-current type. The LPF-25D-12 works in constant current mode, delivering 2.1A within a 6.6–12V constant current region (25.2W max), so it is not a constant-voltage 12V strip supply. Check that your LED module or string is rated for 2.1A before choosing it.

Is the LPF-25D-12 a good fit for small 12V illuminated signs?

Yes, it can fit small sign lighting if the LEDs are a constant-current load rated for 2.1A and operating within the 6.6–12V constant current region, up to 25.2W. Its IP67 rating makes it appropriate where the driver may be exposed to weather. Confirm the sign LEDs are designed for constant-current drive.

Can this model run 12V cabinet, display, or accent lighting?

Yes, as long as the lighting is a constant-current LED load rated for 2.1A within the 6.6–12V range and 25.2W. The built-in 3 in 1 dimming feature (1–10VDC, 10V PWM or resistance) also makes it suitable for applications where light level control is needed. Constant-voltage 12V fixtures or strips are not a match.

How much 12V LED strip can the LPF-25D-12 support?

The output is 25.2W at a constant 2.1A within a 6.6–12V constant current region. Because it is a constant-current driver, the W/m length formula used for constant-voltage strips does not apply; the load must be an LED module or string rated for 2.1A whose operating voltage falls within 6.6–12V.

Can the LPF-25D-12 be used outdoors or in wet areas?

Yes. It is IP67 rated and specified for a case temperature (Tcase) of -35°C to +70°C, with load derating at higher temperatures per the output load vs temperature curve, so it suits outdoor and wet environments. The connected lighting load still needs to be suitable for that environment as well.
