Overview

LPF-25-36 is the 36V output model of this series: rated current 0.7A, rated power 25.2W, typical efficiency 86%.

LPF-25 series is a 25W AC/DC LED driver featuring the dual modes constant voltage and constant current output. LPF-25 operates from 90～305VAC and offers models with different rated voltage ranging between 12V and 54V. Thanks to the efficiency up to 87%, with the fanless design, the entire series is able to operate for -35℃ ~ +70℃ case temperature under free air convection. The entire series is rated with IP67 ingress protection level and is suitable to work for a variety of applications at dry, damp or wet locations.

  1. 1. All parameters NOT specially mentioned are measured at 230VAC input, rated current and 25℃ of ambient temperature.
  2. 2. Please refer to "DRIVING METHODS OF LED MODULE".
  3. 3. Ripple & noise are measured at 20MHz of bandwidth by using a 12" twisted pair-wire terminated with a 0.1uf & 47uf parallel capacitor.
  4. 4. Tolerance : includes set up tolerance, line regulation and load regulation.
  5. 5. De-rating may be needed under low input voltages. Please refer to “STATIC CHARACTERISTIC” sections for details.
  6. 6. Length of set up time is measured at first cold start. Turning ON/OFF the driver may lead to increase of the set up time.
  7. 7. The driver is considered as a component that will be operated in combination with final equipment. Since EMC performance will be affected by the complete installation, the final equipment manufacturers must re-qualify EMC Directive on the complete installation again. Can I use the LPF-25-36 with a 36V LED lighting module?

Yes, if the module is built for 36V constant-voltage input, or for constant-current operation at 0.7A within the 19.8-36V constant-current region. The total load must also remain within the 25.2W output rating.

Is this driver suitable for a small 36V illuminated sign?

It can be used for a small 36V sign when the sign load is specified for constant-current 0.7A operation. The driver supports 19.8-36V in constant-current mode and delivers up to 25.2W.

Can the LPF-25-36 power outdoor decorative lighting?

Yes, the IP67 rating makes the driver suitable for outdoor or wet-location decorative lighting where the driver may be exposed to water and dust. The connected 36V load still needs to match 0.7A constant-current operation and stay within 25.2W.

Would this work for narrow-profile 36V linear lighting?

It can work for narrow-profile linear lighting if the fixture is designed for 0.7A constant-current input and operates inside the 19.8-36V range. This model is limited to 25.2W total output.

How much 36V LED strip can the LPF-25-36 support?

The driver can supply up to 25.2W, so the estimated maximum strip length is 25.2W divided by your strip’s watts per meter. Check your strip rated power per meter and keep the total strip load at or below 25.2W.

Can this driver be used in cold or hot outdoor conditions?

The specified working case temperature (Tcase) range is -35°C to +70°C, with load derating per the output load vs temperature curve, and the enclosure is rated IP67. That makes it suitable for demanding indoor or outdoor environments where moisture and temperature variation are factors.
