LPF-16D-48 is the 48V output model of this series: rated current 0.34A, rated power 16.32W, typical efficiency 85%.

LPF-16D series is a 16W AC/DC LED driver featuring the constant current output. LPF-16D operates from 90～305VAC and offers models with different rated voltage ranging between 12V and 54V. Thanks to the efficiency up to 85%, with the fanless design, the entire series is able to operate for -35℃ ~ +70℃ case temperature under free air convection. The entire series is suitable to work for a variety of applications at dry or damp and the optional models with IP67 rating is able to further work at wet locations. LPF-16D is equipped with the 3 in 1 dimming function so as to provide the design flexibility for LED lighting system.

  1. 1. All parameters NOT specially mentioned are measured at 230VAC input, rated current and 25℃ of ambient temperature.
  2. 2. Please refer to "DRIVING METHODS OF LED MODULE".
  3. 3. Ripple & noise are measured at 20MHz of bandwidth by using a 12" twisted pair-wire terminated with a 0.1uf & 47uf parallel capacitor.
  4. 4. Tolerance : includes set up tolerance, line regulation and load regulation.
  5. 5. De-rating may be needed under low input voltages. Please refer to “STATIC CHARACTERISTIC” sections for details.
  6. 6. Length of set up time is measured at first cold start. Turning ON/OFF the driver may lead to increase of the set up time.
  7. 7. The driver is considered as a component that will be operated in combination with final equipment. Can I use the LPF-16D-48 for a short 48V LED strip run in a sign or display?

Yes, if the lighting product is a constant-current load rated for 0.34A that operates within the 26.4-48V constant-current range and stays within the driver’s 16.32W maximum. This model provides 48V output at 0.34A and is suited to small signage or display lighting loads. Because it is a constant current driver, check that the strip or fixture is specifically compatible before choosing it.

Is the LPF-16D-48 suitable for 48V architectural accent lighting?

It can be a fit for compact accent lighting where the fixture falls inside the 26.4-48V constant current range and does not exceed 16.32W. The standard unit is rated IP30 (IP67 is listed as an option), so it should not be exposed to dust or water. Confirm the fixture’s electrical requirements match 0.34A constant current.
