Overview
ELG-200-12B is the 12V output model of this series: rated current 16A, typical efficiency 90%.
ELG-200 series is a 200W AC/DC LED driver featuring the dual mode constant voltage and constant current output. ELG-200 operates from 100 ~ 305VAC and offers models with different rated voltage ranging between 12V and 54V. Thanks to the high efficiency up to 93%, with the fanless design, the entire series is able to operate for -40℃ ~ +90℃ case temperature under free air convection. The design of metal housing and IP67/IP65 ingress protection level allows this series to fit both indoor and outdoor applications. ELG-200 is equipped with various function options, such as dimming methodologies, so as to provide the optimal design flexibility for LED lighting system

- 1. All parameters NOT specially mentioned are measured at 230VAC input, rated current and 25℃ of ambient temperature.
- 2. Please refer to "DRIVING METHODS OF LED MODULE".
- 3. Ripple & noise are measured at 20MHz of bandwidth by using a 12" twisted pair-wire terminated with a 0.1uf & 47uf parallel capacitor.
- 4. Tolerance : includes set up tolerance, line regulation and load regulation.
- 5. De-rating may be needed under low input voltages. Please refer to “STATIC CHARACTERISTIC” sections for details.
- 6. Length of set up time is measured at first cold start. Turning ON/OFF the driver may lead to increase of the set up time.
- 7. No load/standby power consumption is specified for 230VAC input.
- 8. The driver is considered as a component that will be operated in combination with final equipment. What dimming methods does the ELG-200-12B support?
The ELG-200-12B includes a built-in 3-in-1 dimming interface that accepts 0–10V analog, PWM, and resistance dimming signals. This allows the driver to integrate with a wide range of external dimming controllers and building-automation systems.
Can the ELG-200-12B be used in wet or outdoor environments?
Yes. The ELG-200-12B carries an IP67 waterproof rating, meaning it is fully protected against dust ingress and temporary submersion in water. This makes it well suited for outdoor LED lighting, wet-location signage, and installations where the driver may be exposed to rain or water spray.
How much 12V LED strip lighting can the ELG-200-12B power?
The ELG-200-12B outputs 12V at up to 16A, providing 192W of capacity. Dividing 192W by your strip's rated watts per meter gives the maximum run length — for example, a 12W/m strip allows approximately 16 meters. Check your strip's rated power per meter and allow a safety margin.
Can the ELG-200-12B power 12V LED strips in an outdoor landscape lighting installation with dimming?
Yes. The ELG-200-12B combines IP67 waterproofing with 3-in-1 dimming support, making it well suited for outdoor landscape LED strip installations controlled by an external dimmer. Its 192W output can drive significant strip lengths and its -40°C to +90°C case temperature rating covers year-round outdoor operation.
Is the ELG-200-12B suitable for a stage or event lighting rig using 12V LED fixtures?
Yes. The ELG-200-12B's 0–10VDC, 10V PWM and resistance dimming inputs allow it to be dimmed from external controllers used in stage and event applications. At 192W / 12V / 16A it can drive multiple 12V LED fixtures simultaneously, and its IP67 rating is a practical advantage in variable venue environments.
How does the ELG-200-12B compare to the ELG-200-12A in terms of control features?
The ELG-200-12B (IP67) provides a 3-in-1 dimming interface (0–10V, PWM, resistance) but does not have the output-adjustment potentiometer found on the ELG-200-12A (IP65). The ELG-200-12A allows static fine-tuning of voltage and current at commissioning; the ELG-200-12B allows dynamic dimming during operation. Both output 192W at 12V / 16A.
Does the ELG-200-12B operate across all standard global mains voltages?
Yes. The ELG-200-12B accepts 100–305VAC input, covering 120V (North America), 230V (Europe), 277V (US commercial), and other standard grid voltages worldwide without any manual reconfiguration. Output is rated 144W at 100–180VAC and 192W at 200–305VAC.
