Overview
NPF-90D-48 is the model of this series: rated current 1.88A, rated power 90.24W, typical efficiency 90%.
NPF-90D series is a 90W AC/DC LED driver featuring the constant current mode output. NPF-90D operates from 90~305VAC and offers models with different rated voltage ranging between 12V and 54V. Thanks to the high efficiency up to 90%, with the fanless design, the entire series is able to operate for -40~+85℃ case temperature under free air convection. The entire series is rated with IP67 ingress protection level and is suitable to work for a variety of applications at dry, damp or wet locations. NPF-90D is equipped with the 3 in 1 dimming function so as to provide the design flexibility for LED lighting system.

Test conditions and notes10
- 1. All parameters NOT specially mentioned are measured at 230VAC input, rated current and 25℃ of ambient temperature.
- 2. De-rating may be needed under low input voltages. Please refer to “STATIC CHARACTERISTIC” sections for details.
- 3. Length of set up time is measured at first cold start. Turning ON/OFF the driver may lead to increase of the set up time.
- 4. The standby power consumption is specified for 230VAC.
- 5. The driver is considered as a component that will be operated in combination with final equipment. Since EMC performance will be affected by the complete installation, the final equipment manufacturers must re-qualify EMC Directive on the complete installation again. What dimming methods does the NPF-90D-48 support?
The NPF-90D-48 includes built-in 3-in-1 dimming that accepts a 10V PWM signal, 0–10VDC, or resistance between DIM+ and DIM-, all natively integrated without requiring an external dimmer.
Is the NPF-90D-48 suitable for driving dimmable 48V LED modules in outdoor tunnel lighting?
The NPF-90D-48 delivers 90.24W at 48V with a constant current of 1.88A and a CC voltage range of 28.8–48V, which covers many 48V LED tunnel or underpass lighting modules. Its IP67 rating and -40°C to +85°C case temperature (Tcase) range suit the damp, variable-temperature conditions inside road tunnels.
How does the NPF-90D-48 compare to the NPF-90D-54 and the NPF-60D-48?
NPF-90D-48 is the 90W, 48V, 1.88A version at 171.0 × 63.0 × 37.5 mm. NPF-90D-54 is the higher-voltage sibling at 54V and 1.67A with the same 90W power and body size as the NPF-90D-48. The NPF-60D-48 is not covered by this datasheet; check its own spec sheet.
