Overview
HLG-60H-48 is the 48V output model of this series: rated current 1.3A, rated power 62.4W, typical efficiency 90.5%.
HLG-60H series is a 60W AC/DC LED driver featuring the dual mode constant voltage and constant current output. HLG-60H operates from 90～305VAC and offers models with different rated voltage ranging between 15V and 54V. Thanks to the high efficiency up to 90.5%, with the fanless design, the entire series is able to operate for -40℃ ~ +80℃ case temperature under free air convection. The design of metal housing and IP67/IP65 ingress protection level allows this series to fit both indoor and outdoor applications. HLG-60H is equipped with various function options, such as dimming methodologies, so as to provide the optimal design flexibility for LED lighting system.

Test conditions and notes14
- 1. All parameters NOT specially mentioned are measured at 230VAC input, rated current and 25℃ of ambient temperature.
- 2. Ripple & noise are measured at 20MHz of bandwidth by using a 12" twisted pair-wire terminated with a 0.1uf & 47uf parallel capacitor.
- 3. Tolerance : includes set up tolerance, line regulation and load regulation.
- 4. Please refer to "DRIVING METHODS OF LED MODULE".
- 5. De-rating may be needed under low input voltages. Please refer to “STATIC CHARACTERISTIC” sections for details.
- 6. Length of set up time is measured at first cold start. Turning ON/OFF the driver may lead to increase of the set up time.
- 7. The driver is considered as a component that will be operated in combination with final equipment. Can I use the HLG-60H-48 to power 48V LED panel lights?
Yes. The HLG-60H-48 provides 48V at up to 1.3A (62.4W), which is a common configuration for commercial 48V LED panel lights. It operates in constant-current mode across a 28.8-48V range, so it can handle panels with slightly varying voltage requirements. Note that this is a fixed-output model with no dimming or adjustment.
Is the HLG-60H-48 a good driver for 48V LED modules in outdoor signage?
Yes, provided total power stays within 62.4W. Its IP67 waterproof rating and metal housing protect it from rain and dust, and it operates at a case temperature (Tcase) of -40°C to +80°C. This makes it reliable for outdoor sign cabinets or channel letters using 48V LED modules.
Can the HLG-60H-48 power 48V LED lighting in a greenhouse?
Yes. At 62.4W and 48V with IP67 waterproofing, the HLG-60H-48 can handle the humidity and occasional water exposure found in greenhouses, within its 20-95% RH non-condensing working humidity. Its -40°C to +80°C case temperature (Tcase) range, with load derating at higher temperatures, covers greenhouse heat.
How many meters of 48V LED strip can the HLG-60H-48 drive?
Divide the 62.4W rating by your strip's rated power per meter. A 48V strip at 10W/m allows about 6.2 meters (62.4W / 10W per meter). A denser strip at 20W/m allows about 3.1 meters. Always check your strip's rated power per meter and keep total load at or below 62.4W.
Can the HLG-60H-48 be used in a permanently wet outdoor location?
Yes, with waterproof connections. The IP67-rated housing suits installations exposed to heavy rain or sprinkler zones; fit waterproof connectors to the cables and follow the IP installation cautions in MEAN WELL's user manual. The datasheet does not rate it for submersion. The -40°C to +80°C case temperature (Tcase) range handles year-round outdoor conditions.
What are the differences between the HLG-60H-48, 48A, 48AB, and 48B?
All four models are rated 62.4W at 48V / 1.3A with a CC range of 28.8-48V. The base HLG-60H-48 has fixed output and IP67 waterproofing. The -48A adds output adjustment via potentiometer (IP65). The -48AB adds both adjustment and 1-10V/PWM dimming (IP65). The -48B provides dimming input only and retains IP67.
