HLG-40H series is a 40W AC/DC LED driver featuring the dual mode constant voltage and constant current output. HLG-40H operates from 90～305VAC and offers models with different rated voltage ranging between 12V and 54V. Thanks to the high efficiency up to 89.5%, with the fanless design, the entire series is able to operate for -40 ~ +80 case temperature under free air convection. The design of metal housing and IP67/IP65 ingress protection level allows this series to fit both indoor and outdoor applications. HLG-40H is equipped with various function options, such as dimming methodologies, so as to provide the optimal design flexibility for LED lighting system.

1. All parameters NOT specially mentioned are measured at 230VAC input, rated current and 25℃ of ambient temperature.
2. Ripple & noise are measured at 20MHz of bandwidth by using a 12" twisted pair-wire terminated with a 0.1uf & 47uf parallel capacitor.
3. Tolerance : includes set up tolerance, line regulation and load regulation.

Can I use the HLG-40H-48A to fine-tune output for 48V LED fixtures?

Yes. The HLG-40H-48A includes a built-in potentiometer that lets you trim both output voltage and current. This is useful when your 48V LED fixtures need a slightly lower or more precise drive level than the nominal 48V, without requiring an external controller.

Is the HLG-40H-48A suitable for 48V LED strip lighting in a retail display?

How many meters of 48V LED strip can the HLG-40H-48A drive?

It depends on the strip's power consumption per meter. The HLG-40H-48A provides up to 40W at 48V. If your strip draws 10W/m, you could power up to 4 meters (40W / 10W per meter = 4m). Check your strip's rated power per meter and keep total draw at or below 40W.

Can the HLG-40H-48A be installed in a damp indoor location or sheltered outdoor area?
