Overview
HLG-150H-48AB is the 48V output model of this series: rated current 3.2A, rated power 153.6W, typical efficiency 94%.
HLG-150H series is a 150W AC/DC LED driver featuring the dual mode constant voltage and constant current output. HLG-150H operates from 90～305VAC and offers models with different rated voltage ranging between 12V and 54V. Thanks to the high efficiency up to 94%, with the fanless design, the entire series is able to operate for -40℃ ~ +90℃ case temperature under free air convection. The design of metal housing and IP67/IP65 ingress protection level allows this series to fit both indoor and outdoor applications. HLG-150H is equipped with various function options, such as dimming methodologies, so as to provide the optimal design flexibility for LED lighting system.

Test conditions and notes12
- 1. All parameters NOT specially mentioned are measured at 230VAC input, rated current and 25℃ of ambient temperature.
- 2. Ripple & noise are measured at 20MHz of bandwidth by using a 12" twisted pair-wire terminated with a 0.1uF & 47uF parallel capacitor.
- 3. Tolerance : includes set up tolerance, line regulation and load regulation.
- 4. Please refer to "DRIVING METHODS OF LED MODULE".
- 5. De-rating may be needed under low input voltages. Please refer to "STATIC CHARACTERISTIC" sections for details.
- 6. Length of set up time is measured at first cold start. Turning ON/OFF the driver may lead to increase of the set up time.
- 7. The driver is considered as a component that will be operated in combination with final equipment. Since EMC performance will be affected by the complete installation, the final equipment manufacturers must re-qualify EMC Directive on the complete installation again.

Can I use the HLG-150H-48AB with a building automation system to dim 48V LED fixtures?
Yes. The HLG-150H-48AB accepts 1-10V and PWM dimming signals, making it compatible with most building management and automation systems. The built-in potentiometer also allows manual fine-tuning of the maximum output level independently from the dimming control.
Is the HLG-150H-48AB a good driver for dimmable 48V LED office or retail lighting?
Yes. With 153.6W at 48V, adjustable output, and dimming input, it is well suited for commercial environments where lighting levels need to change throughout the day. The 48V output also permits longer cable runs with less voltage drop compared to 24V systems, which is an advantage in large retail or open-plan office layouts.

How many meters of 48V LED strip can the HLG-150H-48AB drive?
Divide the 153.6W rated power by your strip's wattage per meter. A 48V strip rated at 12W/m could run up to 12.8 meters (153.6W / 12W per meter = 12.8m). Check your strip's rated power per meter and keep the total load at or below 153.6W for reliable dimming performance.
Can the HLG-150H-48AB be used in a humid indoor space like a pool area or spa room?
Its IP65 rating protects against low-pressure water jets and dust, which is generally adequate for humid indoor environments like pool equipment rooms or spa areas where the driver is not directly submerged, provided humidity stays within the rated 20-95% RH non-condensing. For locations with potential water immersion, the IP67-rated HLG-150H-48B with dimming would be a better choice.
