HLG-80H series is a 80W AC/DC LED driver featuring the dual mode constant voltage and constant current output. HLG-80H operates from 90～305VAC and offers models with different rated voltage ranging between 12V and 54V. Thanks to the high efficiency up to 91%, with the fanless design, the entire series is able to operate for -40℃ ~ +80℃ case temperature under free air convection. The design of metal housing and IP67/IP65 ingress protection level allows this series to fit both indoor and outdoor applications. HLG-80H is equipped with various function options, such as dimming methodologies, so as to provide the optimal design flexibility for LED lighting system.

Test conditions and notes14

1. All parameters NOT specially mentioned are measured at 230VAC input, rated current and 25℃ of ambient temperature.
2. Ripple & noise are measured at 20MHz of bandwidth by using a 12" twisted pair-wire terminated with a 0.1uf & 47uf parallel capacitor.
3. Tolerance : includes set up tolerance, line regulation and load regulation.

Can I use the HLG-80H-36AB to power 36V LED strip lighting in a sheltered outdoor area?

Yes. The HLG-80H-36AB outputs 36V at up to 2.3A (80W) and has an IP65-rated metal housing designed for indoor and outdoor applications, making it suitable for covered patios, soffits, and canopy installations. For fully exposed rain locations, consider the IP67-rated HLG-80H-36B instead.

Is the HLG-80H-36AB a good driver for dimmable 36V LED signage?

Can I dim 36V LED panel lights with the HLG-80H-36AB using a 1-10V controller?

How many meters of 36V LED strip can the HLG-80H-36AB power?

Divide 80W by your strip's rated power per meter. For example, a strip drawing 8W/m would allow up to 10 meters (80W / 8W per meter = 10m). Always check your strip's rated power per meter and keep the total load at or below 80W.

What is the difference between the HLG-80H-36, 36A, 36AB, and 36B models?

All four share the same 80W / 36V / 2.3A core specs and a CC region of 21.6-36V. The base HLG-80H-36 has no adjustment or dimming and is IP67. The -36A adds output voltage/current adjustment via potentiometers (IP65). The -36AB adds output current adjustment and 3-in-1 dimming (IP65). The -36B adds the dimming input only and retains IP67.

Can I mount the HLG-80H-36AB in a dusty industrial environment?
